Goddamn, Cruz savaged him. Called him out on the second amendment. Claims he supports the second amendment and then proceeds to say he wants to ban all the guns Texans care about.
> attacks Trump > wants to impeach Trump > no charisma > comes off angry, frustrated, and irritable > small, hate filled eyes > soi stare > brings up white privilege > full blown fanatical SJW
Bentley Russell
Beto smokes crack.
Nicholas Parker
It was more of a stalemate if you ask me.
Levi Martin
Ted Cruz named dropped George Soros.
Now that we get a good look at O'Rourke, is he John Kerry's love child? What's with O'Rourke's neck? where is that charisma he's supposed to have? Sounds too East Coast.
Ethan Richardson
No, it wasn't. O'Rourke is ultra hard left. where is his "centrist" appeal?
He's saying stuff Kamala Harris would say.
Liam Jackson
He may be on some stuff, but civil liberties will drive votes for him.
I myself am libertarian, so naturally I wouldn't approve of his economic ideals, but most Texan voters won't care enough about that because they are employees, not business owners or rich people.
Jaxon Jones
>civil liberties will drive votes for him Like the liberty to keep and bear arms?
Jack Jackson
How do you guys stomach watching this. ... >dead cops >dead blacks >remember the civil rights >democrats are the real racists even at 2x speed I couldn't get farther than this.
Joshua Fisher
He comes off as having no joy, no warmth, no humor.
> no smile > no laughs > no wit > no jokes > no humor
It's like he's a fucking robot. It's like he only has one emotion and it's anger... impotent rage.
His veins or ligaments were popping out of his neck.
Cruz had a better argument economically, but could have made a far better argument against illegal immigration than "it's the law." Trump cited crime, and it resonated with people.
Beto made a better case for civil liberties, and generally danced around Cruz rhetorically. Made articulate appeals to emotion where he was defending weak points (healthcare, immigration).
He would have been steamrolled by Trump, but Cruz is a pretty weak debater. He'll need some serious Middle American turnout this November.
I'll probably vote Cruz for the sake of keeping Texas red, but I still don't particularly like him or his authoritarian tendencies.
Matthew Morales
What civil liberties?
Defending gay weddings? Forcing Christian bakers to make gay wedding cakes?
Gay marriage... that's not a hot button issue anymore.
Cruz crushed O'Rourke on healthcare, gun rights, etc.
Drugs? Advocating for legal narcotics, beyond pot, is not helping O'Rourke.
Hunter Jackson
Cruz mentioned Texas all the time. Orourke hardly. Cruz dropped christianity...
Orourke said he would be a felon if he was black....
Jordan Phillips
do you retards know there's more to the constitution than the 2nd amendment? Seems like you Trumpanzees never speak of the others or even support them.
Brandon Sanders
>middle American turnout >Texas election What
Luis Roberts
Neither did you
Brody Kelly
there's no way an anti-gun faggot wins in Texas
Dominic Flores
>Cruz dropped christianity...
This was beyond fucking smart. Cruz knows religion is not popular anyone. Talking about Texas was huge because even the liberals I know are fucking NATIONALIST S when it comes to their state.
Kayden Carter
I honestly hate O’Rourke’s platform and lefties in general but he wiped the floor with Cruz and everyone outside this echo chamber of sucking the dick of anyone who agrees with you saw it.
I had never followed anything on beta aside from the praise I saw from leftist peers on twitter. Based on that, I expected a lot more. He sounded weak and was obviously carrying a torch for what has now become a typical adornment of socialism within the democrat party. He would have been a perfect fit if the coup actually worked or a blue wave was actually coming. How can you trust a democrat to work with everyone for the best deal when he just got done calling for impeachment of the president. Further radicalization of leftists is pushing those that remain towards a republican vote. These same peers I mentioned who are still faithful to the democrat party have recently unmasked themselves as anti-white racists. At this rate we're going to get tired of winning, but that's no reason to lay off the gas pedal yet.
He's so fucking wound up. Like he's on PCP and about to chimp out.
Isaac Lee
I was mainly referring to Cruz's advocacy of suspending licenses for drug offenders, but you're right in that Cruz made a stronger case for gun rights, and O'Rourke is probably going overboard with respect to legalization of hard drugs.
O'Rourke and his SJW rhetoric is definitely targeting urbanites, hispanics, and Californian transplants. While i doubt it will fly with other voters, I'm just a little worried about Democrat fanaticism for him this season and potential hispanic turnout, especially given the tie in the polls.
Middle America = white, rural / small town / suburban, conservative.
