Fun facts: The segregated schools were Orangeburg High and Wilkinson High. Integration forced them to combine into 1 school. Since that time, easily 90% of the original white inhabitants have moved away and the town is almost completely black now and as backward and corrupt as you would expect. I still have friends who live in the rural areas around there. They all home school their kids.

I moved to Oklahoma City, and was enrolled for several months to a literal "containment school zone," it was a individual district embedded within a larger school system that served several neighborhoods of low income shitheads. Unlike other schools, this was K-9th, unlike other shcools this was 98% black.
