You only need intelligent people who can handle both culture, religion and their work, in which they develop things such as new rocket-designs, more efficient methods for food-production, more compact Architecture, new social laws etc., with the rest of the population spending their life traditionally, with natural medicine, permaculture, lots of sports, serving as workers, soldiers, mothers, students etc.
If we actually implemented full tribalism by the year 3500, the sun or it's heat-waves would kill us anyways, without any population being able to look for a new home.
