I've prepared a timeline for any Anons who want to know about everything:
TIMELINE OF EVENTS Last Year: (1) Portions of the Sunspot inventory were moved to Colorado — during this move, a portion of a high dollar value test kit [fiberoptic, IIUC] was mistakenly transferred to Colorado. (2) The NM AG starts investigating a child-porn distribution case; the network in Sunspot is being used, which is a federal facility. (3) #2 means the case becomes federal; FBI is involved at this point.
January: (4) FBI begins monitoring the IP-port being used in the distribution.
March–May: (5) The current NMSU employees on-site begin being hired. (6) A laptop is found by an NSO employee working in the building inside a semi-abandoned office, in a somewhat hidden location. [The office belonged to a someone who was involved in maintaining the IT resources, who is on-call and generally works remotely.] (7) The NMSU employee working in the building confirms the oddity of the laptop; the NSO employee looks at the computer, finds child-porn, and turns it in to the authorities. (8) An inventory is done by NSO of inventory. [This audit of inventory misses the test-item.]
August: (9) The janitor becomes increasingly frantic about the missing laptop; starts complaining about moved items, theft, missing supplies, etc. (10) The missing item of the test-set is discovered by an NMSU employee.
Hunter Thompson
September: (11) Increasingly frantic, the janitor says something along the lines of “somebody could go up there and kill someone.” — This is taken as a credible threat that the FBI relates to AURA, who then shut down the site. (12) Either the sheriff/deputies or some reporters make a wrong turn and see the Army’s Frequency Monitoring Station, this is where the ‘antenna’ information came from. (13) AURA shuts down Sunspot; fails to provide proper site-security — this allows all the youtube people access, they see the abandoned site and this fuels speculation. (14) A Sunspot employee went on-site to check security — found many doors unlocked. (15) A Sunspot employee goes on a news-site and relates the experiences with the missing item of inventory, plus the janitor’s allegations of theft, plus their feeling of a general lack of security. (16) A Sunspot employee camps near the entrance of the site, deters several people trying to enter the site at night. (17) Sunspot employees are given a meeting to inform them of some of the happenings; the concerns about the [lack of] security are minimized; suggestions (18) Janitor committed to a hospital, possibly a “mental hospital” — supposedly he will be arrested after the entirety of the evidence found at his house are catalogued. (19) The information about child-porn comes out, hits the national media. (20) The NSO and NMSU employees have separate meetings describing the situation and, frankly, doing institutional damage-control; even though none of the NSO or NMSU employees were involved. [The janitor was a sub-contractor, IIUC.]

And that brings you all up to speed about what happened.

just give me the quick rundown i'm out of the loop

The whole child-porn narrative was de-bunked two weeks ago.
The Sun is local to Earth, and is powered by nobel gasses in the upper atmosphere. Maybe hydrogen evaporating off the oceans. That's why we have lots of water here. A closed system, with a massive energy reserve.
Pic is people demonstrating that Earth is concave.
I talked with the NSO employee who turned the laptop in; he's so concerned/unnerved that he's not letting his kids play outside at all.
QRD: Janitor uses understaffed federal-building/-infrastructure to distribute child-porn, then makes threats, this causes the site-shutdown. The shutdown goes well in evac-ing the site, but poor execution in terms of site-security. / Lack of info spurs rampant speculation.
Luis Nelson
So where is the janitor now? Has any information been released about him? I was mostly just shitposting but, am curious.
In answer to video question at approx 9:09 -- IMO: The reason that they left Apache Point open is because (a) no threats were made against its personnel, and (b) they are not operating with a skeleton-crew AND generally low funding impacting operations.

>janitors parents own the facility.
No; the parents (or, IIRC, their company) own[ed] the contract for *providing janitorial services* to the facilities, NOT the facilities themselves.
Leo Ross
What about all the cameras that were apparently shut off around the world?
Zachary Taylor
AFAICT, that rumor was just rumor.
Jeremiah Sanders
Yea tnx for the correction. Could be a reason he's not in jail. also sheriff and the choppers dont make sense.
Daniel Miller
That was complete bullshit
Elijah Cox
check 23:30 for our guy.
Jeremiah Cox
>Could be a reason he's not in jail. I think that's due to (1) his current stay in the hospital, and (2) they [LEOs] have/want to get all the evidence cataloged first.
> also sheriff and the choppers don't make sense. I *THINK* that any chopper seen was probably the Army's Frequency Monitor Site. / Blackhawks can [barely] transport a Paladin, IIRC. (So they could be dropping heavy [weight] stuff.)

This. Plus MUH CP meme doesn't hold up when you take into account that the whole town was evacuated. The FBI doesn't shut down a whole town and a few businesses just because someone nearby was whacking it to underage pussy. The fact that glow in the dark niggers keep spamming the cp meme despite it not holding up to jack shit makes me wonder what they're really trying to hide.
Jason Phillips
Sunspot was 2x on the Dutch state tv news channel. even normies heared about it here. that's what doesnt make sense.
Ethan Gonzalez
The town [Sunspot] has a population of less than 20 now.* IIUC only the post-office's postmaster is the only person (excluding children/spouses) living on-site who isn't employed by AURA, NSO, or NMSU.
(IOW, you could literally fit all the population on a Greyhound bus.)
* In the past Sunspot had about a hundred scientists on-site + Air Force personnel + their families.
Levi Hill
Interesting. To what purpose?

Let me repeat myself you fucking retard. The. FBI. Doesn't. Evacuate. Random. People. In. An. Area. And. Shut. Down. Business. And. Tell. People. They. Can. Never. Come. Back. If. Someone. Is. Found. To. Be. Looking. At. CP. Do I need to fucking say it slower for you to understand? What about clapping between each word, will that help you? Jesus fuck.
Matthew Hernandez
And let me repeat what I've already given in the timeline: THE FBI DIDN'T EVACUATE THE SITE, AURA DID.
Do we know the name of the cleaning company that the janitor's parent's owned? Even though its most likely that the observatory severed the contract with that cleaning company due to the janitor being a pedo according to (((msm))) narrative, im still curious to see who they are and what company is and what other locations they clean for
>Do we know the name of the cleaning company that the janitor's parent's owned? I don't; I only met/talked-with the janitor a half-dozen or so times.
> Even though its most likely that the observatory severed the contract with that cleaning company due to the janitor being a pedo according to (((msm))) narrative, im still curious to see who they are and what company is and what other locations they clean for All I can say on this is I remember mention (by the janitor) of a bank.
Jaxson Gray
Can you specify anything else about how the Janitor worded his mention of a bank that may point me in a better direction? Also, maybe I missed a previous thread you created, but what is your particular connection to this story? Appreciate the info regardless.
>Can you specify anything else about how the Janitor worded his mention of a bank that may point me in a better direction? No, I can't remember anything more. Sorry.
> Also, maybe I missed a previous thread you created, but what is your particular connection to this story? I work on-site; I was hired fairly recently, everything here caught me by surprise.
