What are you guys's legitimate thoughts on the 2018 elections coming up? Will we see a blue wave or a red wave...

Trump will release the goods on the dems just before, people will riot but dems will lose as the exposure begins

Democrats are organizing like crazy, so they will certainly have a lot of votes (I suspect some sort of record for midterms will be broken). It's just a question if they can get the votes in the right places. They'll probably win the House, maybe even Senate.

I have no idea what to expect. I think the polls are shit nowadays bc they struggle to get people on the phone and internet surveys are unreliable.
Historically the dems should do well in the house in the midterms. I'm still going the red tsunami.

i keep an extra 350$ a month now - the alternatives are literally socialists at this point and the college kid vote turnout only goes so far

The Dems will pick up some seats in the House, fair chance enough for a majority there because that's usually what happens. The party not in the White House usually does pretty good in midterms in Congress. I think the Senate might actually gain some Republican seats, but it's not definite. Dems will lose more state legislatures and governorships.

i would also like to state the best case scenario for dems is repubs keep congress and trump gets comfortably re-elected, the conservative pro growth agenda (however flawed) is the only thing keeping this country together, if they take over congress and start impeachment proceeding for all of the next two years there's going to be civil unrest, as in conservatives just start shooting people and county law enforcement looks the other way

The incumbent party A.L.W.A.Y.S. loses the midterm, so a small blue wave wouldn't be unlikely. A large one isn't very likely because prevailing sentiment seems to be turning among the more intelligent. A red wave would indicate the literal deathknell of liberalism as we know it and would likely be the precipitator of a civil war as the dying aristocracy unleashes everything at once.

My call? Minor blue wave, likely very minor.
