Sessions is NOT taking down the Clintons or anyone else of significance behind the scenes.
Trump WANTS Sessions there.
Why?
Because Sessions is a convenient scapegoat for Trump's unwillingness to go after the swamp.

Exactly this. Sessions is operated under Anglo-Saxon conceptions of law and fairness. If he were battling other Anglo-Saxons it'd be fine but he isn't constitutionally equipped to fight an opponent who uses a different set of rules.
Under traditional Anglo-Saxon conceptions of law, his recusal was absolutely appropriate. But considering the evil and abuse of the law the President's enemies intended by the investigation, he should not have recused himself because his recusal has been a barrier to justice.

Sessions was an early Trump supporter which is why Trump felt loyal to him and gave him the job. Trump said this 100% himself on fox n friends a couple weeks ago. He also said jeff sessions was a huge mistake and has done NOTHING. Sessions was clearly and early supporter of Trump simple because he was an inside man for the left. He isn’t doing anything. Of course not only thing anyone in his position could do is attack democrats as republicans dont have much to go after, so he sits and does nothing at all. Only he has really done is talk about going after states with medical marijuana-which makes trump look bad and lose a little support from moderates and pot smokers. This makes a lot of sense. I think the only change i would make is that Trump is less unwilling and more unfocused. He's too easily distracted and uninterested in details to really commit to getting his own agenda though.
