25 years ago I had this book report to do in school on this stupid book in which a white kid and an old black guy with a wacky accent are stranded on an island. Anyway... in the story the black guy ended up dead and I had to write a hypothetical little continueation of the novel as if the kid revisits the island years later when he's grown up.
So I have the kid dig the black guy up and its just his bones left. The kid says "what happened guy, you're white"
"We all be white on dee inside when we dead", i made him say or something like that.
My teacher was not happy with me, I thought it was funny, I didn't/don't know what her problem was.
