-- BACKGROUND -- Jair Bolsonaro is front-runner for president of Brazil. He is a conservative Christian, former army captain and the only candidate free from involvement in corruption. He's pro-gun legislation and whats the liberalization of the economy with a Chicago boy as minister and to align Brazil to the American foreign policy (fuck Cuba, Venezuela, Palestine and China). He's stable in the Israeli hospital after being stabbed in the guts by a former member of PSOL (Socialism and Liberty Party) and undergoing emergency surgery.
Memes by Bolsonaro: >Pinochet should have killed more people >Historical debt towards slavery? I didn't enslave anyone. >The Portuguese didn't enslave blacks, but blacks enslaved themselves. >I wouldn't rape you because you are ugly and you don't deserve it.
Bolsonaro is currently leading in all polls with at least 25% of the votes. 2nd is Workers' Party's Fernando Haddad (full blown Marxist)
don't be the stereotypical brazilian that brings american garbage like this fucking /ptg/ trash meme.
Nathan Hill
99:1 A candidate that led the polls 1 month before the election never lost it.
Asher Robinson
>Bump.
What do you think, guyz? Sometimes I think Bolsonaro got it, sometimes I think it'll be Haddad. What are the real odds, what evidences do we have? Is Bolsonaro's charisma and -finally- some TV time grant him victory? Will PT's massive machine, lots of money and political alliances secure Lula's victory again?
Brayden Morales
Remember that if you are from São Paulo you should vote for our yellow loving Imperial Prince.
PT almost lost to low energy and corrupt as fuck Aécio in 2014. Lula is in jail now, PT is synonymous with economic crisis, corruption and epidemic crime, Haddad manages to be less charismatic and memetic than Dilma. Bolsonaro appeals to people in three major fronts: Economy, Security and Anti-Corruption, his plans for these things are solid, too solid for the opposition in fact which is why the caviar left only relies on fake news and fabricated hysteria to try to bring him down, but fake news aren't really that effective for anything other than appealing to militants.
Christopher Sanders
Also TV time seems pretty useless nowadays, just look at Alckmin.
Evan Myers
And what about huge countrysides, like MG and northeast, (((not him))), bribe etc? Election fraud wouldn't be out of PT's table too.
Joseph Howard
prepare for electronic fraud
Henry Brown
Alckmin is the biggest dumbest in Brazilian political history. He wants o gain the "anti-PT" vote by not attacking PT and instead attacking his main opposition constantly. Fucking retard.
David Garcia
*biggest dumbass
Liam Murphy
Bolsonaro's TV time might be useful though. Just imagine how many red pills. He could invite Olavo even. He could talk about the monarchy. Celso Daniel. Teori. Lula's ex-wife. Everything.
PSDB NEVER talked about the real problems with PT because they are also commies. Bolsonaro has no reason to be afraid, specially since the stabbing failed and people will probably not try another one. It would be great if they filmed his recovery as it could give a nice sentimental video showing each step: first water, first food, first walk etc. This would be powerful for the populace. He could also invite Malafaia and so on.
Bolsonaro's TV time has the potential to be HIGH-ENERGY. People will hear about Foro de SP on Globo and Globo wont be able to do anything to stop. Even if we lose we win.
Cameron Clark
PSDB started off by trying to bring Bolsonaro down, this is actually the right strategy since second rounds are always polarized and there are not enough right-wing votes for both Bolsonaro and Alckmin. The problem is that Bolsonaro symbolizes anti-establishment so the establishment trying to bring him down will just reinforce his image. Recently PSDB and the rest of the centrists reorganized themselves as the third option, the pro-democracy "moderates", their current strategy is saying how both Bolso and PT are anti-democratic and too radical but I don't think that will stick on Bolso and I can't think of a better strategy other than completely dissolving the party into something new to disassociate themselves from the establishment everyone hates. PSDB and the centrão are already internally split and rapidly losing the little identity they had which reinforces my idea that they need and will reinvent themselves.
It's an awful strategy as it has been proved by reality itself. If he attacked Bolsonaro by centrist terms, that would be one thing, but he attacks him from extreme-left terms, claiming he's a nazi racist misogynist who hates poor people.
its going to be haddad v bolssonaro this is how it goes theyre the only 2 that are rising everyone else is dropping oc that means bolsonaro victory
Luke Baker
That's what candidates always do, Ciro is shitting on Haddad since he needs his votes to go to the second round, it's just a necessary campaign strategy when you're losing. The problem with PSDB is that Bolsonaro stole their image as the right-wing opposition and exposed them as the centrist cucks they are, I wouldn't be surprised if they actively supported PT in the second round just to continue this controlled opposition shittery, or they might continue the pro-democracy argument and stay neutral to aim for a comeback in the next elections but neutrals are always losers when a country is polarized. PSDB is in a hard place, riding Bolso's new-right wave would probably be the most effective strategy but I think they are too ideologically removed from that to do it.
Alckmin's campaign is stupid as fuck. They decided to attack Amoedo, Marina, Dias, Meirelles, PT and Bolsonaro at once while having by far the most time on radio and tv. Basically everyone is pissed with them now. Low energy as fuck and obviously centrão will be part of any elected government
Michael Nelson
fucking yellow fever why hasnt he lost his claim? as far as i know royals can only marry royals, is she related to some asian dinasty?
Anthony Morales
he never had a claim m8, his father married a plebeian
Christopher Hernandez
He's not on succession line.
Jordan Hall
>is she related to some asian dinasty? But that would be cool as fuck
Alckmin's campaign isn't bad because he attacks others since Bolsonaro does the same, the problem is that Alckmin himself doesn't have the image of a viable alternative to the ones she's shitting on and he has no charisma.
Eli Martin
She's the japanese princess iirc
Gavin Miller
I kno
Cooper Bennett
She must be a massive slut
Ryder Stewart
>Haddad talking about bicycle paths This is why he will lose, he has the small mind of someone who's running for mayor, just like Marina who is obsessed with small shit like day care centers, this is not a presidential mind.
>his facebook was just a distraction >the invocation of God is common among hired killers who try to hide hidden commanders >adelio's lawyer defended big-time PCC bosses. The PCC has links with Hezbollah. >last week, Bolsonaro's son received an alert from (((mossad)))
The name of the commander of this conspiracy is GERALDO ALCKMIN. **Fonte: Anão do 27**
Odds in favor of Bolso. Everything that could have been thrown against Bolso has been already and Haddad hasn't been attacked yet. The second the image of him being a puppet of a convicted felon sticks is the second he loses.
Hunter Sullivan
hope that based bolsanero give you an helicopter read
This is why Israel is so important. >oh but it's just some random country in the middle east It's not. You have never worked with intelligence if you say so. You have no idea how much intelligence Mossad feeds us here in the West, and how much we are targeted by Arab terrorists.
There's a reason Brazil was embarrassingly called a "diplomatic dwarf" by Israel when Dilma pulled our ambassador out of there - she showed a lot of ungratefulness towards Israel.
I know Jow Forums is full of anti-semitic memes, but those are just memes. The Jewish people are really our best friends and that is a fundament of the right. If you disagree, then you're a leftist and a Nazi.
Ayden Hernandez
He's a Catholic, but he's too close to protestants. His wife and sons are evangelical.
Tyler Nelson
what if Haddad wins?
Alexander Walker
Then you'll stop asking this every thread.
Jaxson Anderson
He's Evangelical. Fortunately, our country is slowly leaving the Roman paganism that gave us all our problems and converting towards true Christianity, which is why Brazil is finally rejecting communism, turning right-wing into the path of prosperity!
Blake Russell
>Fortunately, our country is slowly leaving the Roman paganism t. Pastor Vanderlei
Adrian Morris
I want Bolsonaro to win but I'm not sure if his victory is guaranteed. According to the polls(which are probably fake), Haddad is growing and Ciro is getting cucked hard(thank God).
Lincoln Adams
Yes, I am a pastor, glory to God! So what?
James Anderson
We're fucked.
Julian Wilson
I don't think he ever made that clear (which is politically a good move since it alienates less people). At some point he was Catholic, but a few years ago he got baptized in Israel by some pastor. He was also a pretty bad Catholic what with being on third marriage and all that. Regardless of anything he's still the best chance for the more conservative/traditionalist parts of the church to get a standing and retake it from the liberationists at CNBB.
Goodest of goys.
Ryder Hill
>Goodest of goys. You're in the wrong thread, user. This is the Bolsonaro thread.
>I am a true Christian, I value countries for their material development
The inquisition must come back.
Joseph Long
Not anymore. He was until 2015. In 2016 he converted to the Baptist Church and was baptized in the River Jordan. God doesn't abandon his children. If you're left out in the cold, that's a sign you're not with God.
Elijah Jenkins
Also, be careful what you wish for. The barbaric Roman inquisition killed millions, and would probably kill you too for posting in a Japanese cartoon forum.
Wyatt Sanders
Repent.
He probably isn't a very religious guy, and he doesn't goes in detail about his beliefs in order to avoid alienating his voters.
Parker Collins
The fact that you are posting things like "if you're in the cold, you're not of God" only shows that the Inquisition didn't kill enough heretics. It never killed millions but maybe it should have.
Angel Adams
Haddad wins
Even though brazil experiences a phenomenon with the rise of Bolsonaro, we must not forget we are speaking of a country with half of the population without access to basic sanitation. By that, I mean that our political perception is an illusion at most.
Even though PT has a high rejection rate, Lula is still seen as a savior by the lower class of Brazil, specially from poorer states. IN this sense, Mr. Bolsonaro cannot topple the power of the worker's party.
As far as I can observe, in my opinion, PT's (which, to note, I consider a devious player) strategy of holding on to Lula's image until the last second (and still doing so) is working pretty well, and will translate into the majority of brazilians electing Mr. Haddad.
Joseph Green
most people that haven't got access to basic sanitation have got access to social media and whatsapp m8, both which Bolsonaro is king. He will win m8, if your theory was right he wouldn't even rise on the polls
Jeremiah Jenkins
You're almost right but poor people are extremely affected by crime and Bolsonaro has a strong anti-crime image, PT's chokehold on poor people is a lot weaker than it used to be just some years ago thanks to both Bolsonaro and the economic and security crisis PT caused.
Nolan Miller
>Haddad wins Fuck off
Jacob Moore
Remember that so far Haddad hasn't been targeted by any attacks and there is plenty of dirt to be thrown at him. This election can go either way.
Robert King
I've seen people praising Mourão because he's good with words. Can someone link me an example?
Carson Taylor
If ciro, marina, meirelles, haddad, alckimin, boulos, vera lucia or almoedo wins we are fucked.
Vera lucia is not part of the (ciro, marina, meirelles, haddad, alckimin, ) team but she is a crazy nut, they are more open to do crazy stuff (since they do what the crazy billionaries told them to do) but they will use creeping incrementalism/progressivism/boiling frog story, vera lucia will try to do crazy stuff (but not as crazy as the end result of the team will be) really fast
>he says Ciro and the left conspire to make a one nation communist state in latin anerica called URSAL everyone laughs, thinks he's crazy >he says Havan, a national company, is a symbol of american imperialism everyone laughs, thinks he's crazy >he goes to the mountains to flee illuminati assassins everyone laughs, thinks he's crazy >he gives a speech about how Bolsonaro has been taken by the freemasons (through Mourão) and by the Illuminati (through Guedes) everyone laughs, thinks he's crazy >he says guns are bad and people will end up killing themselves
>Oh wow he's a sane guy, can't help but agree God I wish normies couldn't vote
If you consider this plus the number of people who do not, by any means, consider the internet as a source of information for their brains (unwillingly so), there is a huge amount of brazilians, who will cast their votes on october 7 and 28, who do not have access to social media. This is an interesting scenario where our reality (yours and mine, as we speak online right now) can be completely different of about 20%-30% of brazilian voters.
It is in this electoral bubble that mr Lula thrives, and mr Haddad is most likely going to attract lot's of those votes. I understand that this will be a too-close to call race, but in my opinion PT will take it.
Much of it is to blame for brazil's outdated electoral laws, which will cost yet another 4 (or less?) years of the worker's party being in power.
Lincoln Martinez
Nobody should vote. Voting is retarded, everyone should bother about their trade, let the statesmen run the state. Why should a doctor, fireman or farmer have to bother learning complex economics and geopolitics? We have a division of labor for a reason, for fuck sake.
Aiden Fisher
Just saw an ad from Alckmin on TV saying bolsonaro will raise taxes on the poor and alleviate it for the rich and that you should prepare your "bolso". Can anyone confirm? Why would he do this. ?
Landon Gutierrez
At this point, it barely matters. Its less than a month away, lets vote and see. If lula wins, its hockey mask time. If bolsonaro wins, its hockey mask time for the left.
I completely agree. Worst of all, the doctors, firemen and farmers do NOT learn economics and geopolitics, but still give their opinions on such stuff. Can you even count the amount of times you've heard that Lula's government was good because the economy did good? It's ridiculous, desu
Isaac Collins
This. Fucking paid shill.
Thomas Russell
>>In 2018, 63 million brazilians do not have access to the internet. They don't have access to wired internet, while 3G is everywhere m8, hence why you are wrong
