That was my point I was midly interested in the past about family stuff, but I got to the point in life wich I'm middle age, I have a secure job (and a part time one as well) so I'm making good money and you start thinking about "what's next?" This is a privilege we as men have, women can't do this without the risk of having issues when in comes to childbirh after their 30's. My focus right now is to save, invest, get involved to move off the system eventually and be a dad in my late 30's and be fully involved in their lives, no public education, no living in the cities, etc.. Also keeping my wife and children away from degenerates. We must raise the next generation to be fully aware of the dangers of current society.

One night I was with my grandma and there was some leftist (that passes for a right winger here these days) saying some shit on TV and I told her that we only have leftists in this country even this guy is a leftist. She started telling me how everything was better during Salazar days before the revolution and how the communists ruined everything then I asked how was it like back then and she started getting teary saying there was barely any crime other than smuggling stuff through the border and how everyone kept their doors unlocked and trusted each other back then. Then I told her that maybe those days will come back soon and how people are starting to wake up but she told me it's too late for that but I could tell she was getting all emotional I had never seen her like that. I didn't want to push on it too much because she's on her 90s and I didn't want her to get upset. I just told her that the new generation thinks different, that what we see on TV is very different from what we see on the internet where the conversations isn't so censored and that things might swing back again and she was like maybe, maybe and I could feel her getting a little happier. This was just a couple of months ago.
My great grandmother's advice to me before she went fully senile was to never marry a "dirty foreigner."

The respect for old people is also something that the older generations were taught, and maybe some people now were taught that as well, especially in the South, but generally speaking the young do not respect the old. I was not raised in the US so it kind of let's me see how much more I respect the older people than the people my age in the US. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it allows for speaking up and maybe it's easier to change the culture that way. The bad part is when it's in public and it's blatantly obvious. I have a big problem with staying quiet when someone tells or pushes or disrespects an older person in public or just in my presence. I don't think I will ever change that, I tried to not pay attention and couldn't. One of the biggest problems I have with older people, that my peers don't is, I can't ignore them when they speak, nor can I just abruptly finish the conversation. It sometimes leads to me being stuck with an older person for hours, because I can't leave. Sometimes it's a good thing and sometimes I wish I could kill myself, while at the same time I sit there and smile and nod.
