So let's actually get into some talking now. I hear what your'e saying (hopefully) and that's "Holy shit user, I'm convinced! My kids are never getting circumcised!" Great! Your kids have a much better chance at being healthy and happy when their dick isn't chopped up.
But there's another problem. How do we let our friends and family know that this needs to stop. It's something I've given a lot of thought to, as I have a brother who is dead set on having at least 1 son. How will I approach this topic with him and his wife when the time comes?
Let's start with convincing the father. What convinces men? Facts. You need to show the father all the numbers of how circumcision is harmful and that his son doesn't need it. If he himself is circumcised, he may resist. This is because it's extremely difficult to come to terms with the thought that your parents could have done something so horrible to you when you were so young. It's important to let him know that it isn't his fault and that he can make a big difference in his son's life but putting an end to it. He can make his son stronger and better off than he was, which is what every father really wants for their boy.

Now, on to convincing the mother. We need to be honest here. No amount of facts will convince a woman. These are creatures which don't think, but feel. So you need to make them feel that their son is perfect just the way he is. After birth, a woman will have very strong protective and maternal instincts for her child. Use these as they were meant to be used and protect the child from circumcision. One possible avenue I've been exploring further is that of showing her a video. Finding a good video has been a slow and taxing process, both mentally and spiritually. As it stands, I found a few which might be able to work. Afterall, what mother would ever want to subject her son to such horrendous treatment that has no benefit, and only ruins her child's chances of growing up into a strong man that she can be proud of? I'll give another warning here, because these videos still manage to make my stomach churn after all this time.

God help me, but this is the toughest part of this task. Because circumcision is so widely accepted, there's actually a lot of videos about it on the web and even Youtube, but that doesn't make them any easier to sift through. Luckily, because of the naturally strong reaction they tend to provoke, any video in which you can see the mutilation taking place, and hear the baby's tortured screams of pain, should be enough.
The future mother will instinctively know that it is not something any child should be exposed to.

If they are hardcore christians, then you'll need to convince them on religious grounds. I'm not a religious scholar myself, but I believe that I've read that somewhere in the New Testament is a part in which god proclaims that all former covenants are null and void. The act of circumcising your child was seen as creating a covenant with god. When god sacrificed Jesus for us though, he no longer required this.

Don't get too hung up on the big picture either. Focus on what you can do for the individuals around you. If you can prevent even 1 circumcision, then it was worth it and you have made a difference. You prevent one, and reach others and they prevent 1 and in 20 or 30 years we may see an end to circumcision among all civilized societies.
