I'm just pointing out that slavery isn't as bad as you think it is. All that distinguishes it from market work is that it is mandated; and we have practices like military conscription and central planning which are in principle the same as slavery.

Slavery is not intrinsically evil even in this day and age. Though I don't think it makes sense to practice it today, for economic reasons mainly, apart from maybe using prisoners, or national emergencies, or military conscription.
