If your parents own their own home, these boxes live forever because nobody gives a shit whats in the attic or basement and nobody ever cleans it out. If you're some scummy apartment dwelling poorfag, you don't do this kind of thing because you don't have any room.

So is it believable? Absolutely. I'm not surprised he probably went to his parents house and started looking through his high school shit to try and find something exonerating.

There is nothing more important than one's family traditions, as these things become part of your legacy which can be shared down the line.

I have my great-grandfather's American flag from the service, and a number of old scrapbooks from my grandfather from when he was young, including newspaper clippings, and the like.

All of the items that one has tells part of the story of someone's life. When Kavanaugh's children are older, perhaps they will see just how their father lived his life at their age, the things he did, and the experiences that he had.

There is actually nothing indicating that this was even hoarding on his part, as most likely these were files maintained by his parents. One would be so lucky to have parents who are proud of genuine accomplishments.
