Vancouver guy thinking about moving to Ottawa. Vancouver is nice and all but I don't like how expensive it is, how progressive it is, how anti social it is and how non-white it is. Am I wasting my time moving to Ottawa? Are there better places in Ontario
Ottawa
bump
You don't like how progressive Vancouver is and you want to move to an all liberal city?
I just think Vancouver is probably a lot worse in this regard
It probably is better but why don't you just drive 5 hours north/east?
I'm not very well traveled within the province but those regions are too remote for me as a young single guy
Just move up into the interior retard
Ontario esp any large city is just fucking terrible
good spots in the interior are more expensive than Ottawa, I think. Why is it so bad?
All of Canada is shit. Fuck Canada. Only faggots live in Canada. Vancouver is extreme shit. Fuck you.
kys
The place looks like a dream (by my third worlder standards, anyway).
there is a decent amount of brazilians in vancouver now, nice people
It is true though. Out of all of the Commonwealth countries you are only second to the UK in being the worst in the Commonwealth (in the current year of course).
Yes but at the same time I'm trying to leave Vancouver and Vancouver is just a microcosm of the same problems you'd find in Australia: progessivism, cities owned by chinks, smug narcissists etc. Aus is also too hot
I work in Ottawa, live south of the city...
Ottawa is turning into a shithole...big issue is fucking Somali's, shooting the place up...
kek
Diversity is our strength....
I agree desu
Didn't even know how bad it was until I left it for a while
what are the other notable undesirables?
Having lived here all my life, it's a beautiful, historical city. The feel, architecture and scenery is amazing.
However, it is growing shittier and shittier demographically. Pajeets, nogs and Somalis fucking everywhere downtown. It's also liberal as shit, city full of government workers.
would you guess that it is more liberal than vancouver?
I'm on the Québec side 10 minute walk away from pic.
I need a roomate for my house.
COme live with me brah.
still have to graduate this year, my friend. In Ottawa, is it a necessity for a lot of jobs specifically public sector jobs to speak French? My French is very poor, essentially non-existent.
Been viziting canaderp this past summer. Here's my observation:
- Toronto: full of Indians and Asians to the brim. I never saw so many non-white ppl in my whole life. The city looks good though, and you only feel garbage smell once in a while. Suburbs are good (lots of rich masonic blocks, adorned with masonic statues), plus there's laek ontario and wine to keep you entertained.
- Ottawa: it's basically the parliament surrounded by a plain of eternal anglo's blocks. Smell of garbage is common. Not a lot of stuffs to do. Should be very cold during Winter.
- mount real: smell of garbage is the essence of the city. Libtards find their home in here, yet I haven't seen much cultural enrichment (maybe panjeets don't survive -30C during winter?). Probably the best looking city of the 3 I've seen and also the less anglo. Laek is good, and there is plenty to do during summer.
you don't like anglo stuff? where would you choose to live?
I went to Ottawa and it was full of Muslims and chinese
Move to Alberta or Sask.
I am very well travelled in the province and unless you are a fucking degenerate you need to move to a small town and start associating with people that are not degenerates.
You find degenerates in small towns, but the only traditional girls I have met with any numbers are in these small interior towns west of the Rockies
>t. 4 years in vancouver
is that Salmon arm?
why?
It's Trail, this is Salmon Arm. I actually live in Salmon Arm
>yet I haven't seen much cultural enrichment
You must be blind because Montreal is basically shitskin central.
I love Shuswap lake.
/comfy/ area.
which one is better?
What do you mean better?
Sicamous is rather unknown, it is relatively cheap and has more young people in it than other places in the region.
I grew up in Prince George, my parents moved there because wages are high and costs are low. Prince George is where I would recommend Joe Schmo to go.
I have decent income in healthcare, so living in Salmon Arm/ Blind Bay is a possibility. Otherwise it is mostly old people who own all the property in Salmon Arm proper.
Trail is in the Kootenays and is around 500km south of where I live, more degenerates in the kootenays.
If I were you I would tour this are this fall or camp next summer. You won't find a better place to live in Canada. Please note I have crossed out the indian towns, avoid those
>you don't like anglo stuff?
The Anglo tends to spawn shitty wooden houses and random UK style pubs at every corner, with random "u-wat-m8" drunktard encounters. He totally lacks sense of aesthetic and has wax on his tongue, preventing him from distinguish between good and bad food.
Le french canadian instead retains a stronger bond to his European values and has a better sense of aesthetic and food.
> where would you choose to live?
Definitely not in any city. Living in a big city is nigger tier. But if I had to, I would say:
> mount real
> Toronty
> Ottafuck
For pretty much any job where you'll be dealing with the public you'll need french, both public and private sector. Public sector is more strict about it, private sector usually gives a higher wage to bilingual peeps.
>>yet I haven't seen much cultural enrichment
>You must be blind because Montreal is basically shitskin central.
Dunno, maybe I was desensitized from seeing Toronto.
