The story of why christ died on the cross for our sins is nothing more than a ritual sacrifice. Christians literally worship the oppression of revolutionaries like jesus. Even going as far as fetishizing the "blood of christ" and neglecting to realize their whole religion exists because jesus was getting too many followers so "they" killed him and made a religion around it because jesus teaching people to get away from the oppression of the Jewish religion. Now Christians worship Jesus as a deity and claim he is the only son of God which completely snuffs out the entirety of the real message jesus was trying to spread in the first place. Although altered by the church, scripture indicates jesus renounced any divine powers and became man, and even told the jewish people "is it not written in your scriptures that you are gods?" Jesus was never trying to be worshipped as the one son of God, he was trying to tell us we are all son of God. Christians ruined fucking everything
lol what It's pretty widely known that christianity is just our age's (age of the fish) memetic representation of the movement of celestial bodies. Everything else is a guise with some moral stories.

Did God in the Old Testament demand blood sacrifices? Yes. It was the law. It had to be done. Did God in the Old Testament tell his followers they were superior people? Yes. They alone were chosen. Did God in the Old Testament say his followers would gain control of the world? Yes. Prophecy said the Israelites would be leaders of all nations. Did God in the Old Testament allow the keeping of slaves? Yes. It was customary to enslave conquered women. If I told you to make blood sacrifices, that others were inferior to you, that if you followed me you would dominate your neighbors and that it was ok to enslave women, would you call me a Satanist? Yes. Isn't that just a little fucking weird?
In the book of Hebrews it says Jesus was a perfect blood sacrifice. Who did Jesus need to be sacrificed to? Would God need his own son to be a sacrifice to Himself? If I told you I sacrificed my faultless son to appease a law I created would you call me Satanic? Do you really want to wake up, even if you hate what you discover?

If there was such a thing as original sin, and by some magic I knew that I could nix myself for three days and come back with superpowers and offer salvation to the world, I would sign up for that in a heartbeat. I think most decent people would, given that hypothetical. This whole "Jesus died for me", "God sacrificed his only son" meme is absolutely absurd, a complete logic fail.
He ded for three days - that's not a sacrifice, it's an inconvenience.

Jesus was a human sacrifice...don’t associate Islam with your barbaric religion.

So why does Jesus say "I and the father are one" in John 10:30, John 14:9 Jesus tells Phillip that whoever has seen him (Jesus) has seen the father.

>I and the father are one Shrooms. I know that feeling.

religion isn't about blindly following written words by old men.
Jesus was a good man. That's enough for most.

this actually makes sense. is there any branch of Christianity that worships God and not jesus but still is based on what Jesus preached?
