Because the entire foundation of their ideology is "the ends justifying the means." They view anybody to the left of Bernie Sanders as an unironic evil Nazi. They feel completely and totally justified ruining their lives because they're "evil white men" who hate minorities and women.
On the other hand, our side by and large has standards. We view them as wrong and misguided in their views, but not outright evil. It would be unfathomable to most conservatives to do something that unconscionable. There's a reason "bearing false witness" is such an issue for the side that's abandoned God and religion entirely.
The end is nigh. The only question is, whether it's going to be us or our children's generation that sees the end times.
