You only understand price. Not economics or patriotism. Canadian dollar does have a pricing problem but trade is the cause, not the solution. Underhanded deals, free trade, foreign direct investment resulted in many Canadian industries getting decimated for pennies extra. As a result in many fields domestic sectors cannot compete and get taken over or destroyed reduceding competition and the result is the average citizen getting fucked because now a foreigner has a monopoly.
