Agree with all you stated fren. How does one live a decent Christian Life if they hate the church? I have a strong personal relationship with Christ, I want to get baptized, but church is antithetical to Jesus' mission as far as I can tell from my reading of scripture. To me it seems he came to abolish religion.

I've seen some YouTube Christians who seem real who are hugely into the idea that the Trinity is false even going as far to say Trinitarians are all Catholic and going to hell. And that re-baptism in Jesus name only is a requisite for salvation and sometimes even tongues too. This same type also goes out of the way to preach that works are important and anyone who teaches Faith alone is lying, so this confuses me even more because that idea sounds like Catholic BS despite coming from someone who is very much opposed to the RCC and institutional churches.

I've looked into this "oneness Pentecostal" view and I am suspicious of it only because it seems to have originated with an early 1900s revival (Azusa St in California) that definitely produced some weird heretical charismatic groups.

What I've always gathered is that the vatican "Trinity" is a false one that has a female component. But not that the concept of a God with 3 components itself is false.

But at the same time, people like this family seem to be genuine, so I'm scared what if they're right? Maybe they're just off on one issue that isn't a requirement for salvation?

Every single "genuine" preacher seems to teach something I know is wrong, in this case he seems right about salvation (opposed to "lordship salvation" ) but pre trib rapture is definitely false, that's "Futurism" invented by Jesuits and pushed to zionists in the late 19th century , to hide the Vatican being the biblical anti-Christ.

I'm more worried about those who teach specific works such as needing to speak in other tongues (acts 2 is given as proof that it is a mandatory sign one is saved, in Corinthians 11 or 12 I believe it is mentioned that gifts are diverse for different members of the body of Christ, but the Tongues crowd says that is a different gift of additional languages, but the initial experience is an assumed sign that one has the holy spirit at all).
