If they keep this up to the midterms it will drive a ton of right wingers to the polls. People underestimate how many people voted for Trump simply to get a Conservative Supreme Court justice. Even if it doesn't go on until the mid-terms, the whole clown show may still drive a larger than expected right wing turnout due to the over the top slimy shit the Democrats are pulling.

I think the more time the media extends their coverage of obviously unfair accusations, the better for republican turnout overall. I do worry about boomers staying home because they believe the accusations, though. I don’t trust most boomers to think for themselves.

it probably won't, at least not in the way democrats hope. everybody knows what they're doing, it's pretty fucking obvious at this point. people aren't speak up so much about it because the Left, in typical fashion, are attacking any Kavanaugh defenders as rapists themselves.

what liberals don't realize is that shaming changes public behavior but breeds a lot of resentment. democrats have already reached their ceiling for turnout, they won't squeeze out much more. however GOP turnout so far has been rather low but now you have liberals giving the Right every reason to turn out.

Maybe, it could help Republicans. The HuffPost study showed us only 21% of women and 25% of men believe the accusations. This means even the Democrats' own base isn't swallowing it. Feinstein fucked up big time.

I think everyone is wising up to the way this game is being played. I have a boomer uncle who bought the "13 women coming out to say Trump assaulted them" hook, line, and sinker and even he is saying he doesn't buy these Kavanaugh accusations for a minute. What is really interesting is the party who stands for "muh waman" is gonna cry wolf so many times that no one is going to believe the women who have actually been assaulted.
