Silent Generation: 1928-1945 (last traditionalist generation... for now)
Boomers: 1946-1964 (early boomers were hippies, late boomers were disco kids)
Gen X: 1965-1981 (remembers the Challenger explosion but not the moon landing)
Millennials: 1982-1996 (remembers 9/11 but not the Challenger explosion)
Zoomers: 1997-2011 (remembers Trump's election but not 9/11)
Gen Alpha: 2012-2025? (never knew a pre-Trump world)
Gen Beta: c. 2025?-? (the current Crisis Era that America has been in since the 2008 Recession is predicted to resolve itself by 2025-2030. If there's a sudden change in circumstance or victory by then, people may start fucking a lot and have kids again, creating a second baby boom in Gen Beta. Maybe, maybe not)
That's wrong. 1982 is the real start of Millennials, why 1982? Because they were the first to come of age in the new millennium.

Anyway... I always thought it strange the generation z would be the last one, alphabetically. Gen x, gen y or millenials, and then gen z; is that it, then?
Luke Price
I prefer gen y, millennial has such a negative connotation after these fucking morons ruined it.
Do you remember 9/11 or no? Some people born in 97 who remember 9/11 might identify more with Millennials.
Eli Baker
Also born in '97.
I don't remember 9/11, I remember W. Bush and Obama's elections, though.
I also remember MySpace and how inaccessible the internet felt back then. Seeing as how big the "emo" thing was for millennials, I'm hardly surprised they're a bunch of sensitive, anti-establishment asswipes. On the other hand, Gen Z is full of kids making public fools out of themselves on the internet, now with it being as accessible as it is.
I hate using the word "cringe" to describe people who are enjoying themselves, but Gen Z makes me cringe so hard sometimes.
Anthony Watson
i remember everyone absolutely losing their shit, didn't really know why till a few days later
Jack Brown
>they were the first to come of age in the new millennium. that doesn't make any sense a millennium is 1000 years so 2000 was the beginning of a new millennium and 1990-1999 was the last decade of the last millennium anyway all that gen bullshit sounds as retarded as the 500 million plastic straw a day so whatever
Luke Hall
Get off my board you fuckin kids
Lincoln Morales
Come on, Gramps, we all put our pants on one leg at a time. Can't we just get along?
word, yeah I feel like 1993-1998 are these weird in-betweeners. A lot of us went to college knowing about the student loan hell and useless degrees and so went into STEM thinking we're smart. Politically we're all over the place, hell I had a SJW phase myself. I am technically a millenial but every time I talk to a zoomer I find it really easy to relate to them and get a conversation going.
Josiah Johnson
Do you remember 9/11 at all.even slightly. If no you're a Zoomer. If yes Millennial.
>Zoomers: 1997-2011 (remembers Trump's election but not 9/11) I´m from late `98 and remember 9/11.
Nolan Gonzalez
Are you me? My brother is 100% zoomer born in 2000 and most of his friends seem like pretty chill people. A lot of them are aware of the zoomer stereotype and I can't tell if they are ironically or unironically playing into it.
I also went through a Bernie phase, then a Trump phase, now I don't know what I fucking believe in anymore.
I don't remember 9/11 but I remember specific events and other things I did with my family the same year and even earlier. I remember being at the hospital for my brothers birth which was a whole year before 9/11.
Michael Adams
Lol, the crisis hasn't even begun faggots. Debt-driven compound growth cannot continue indefinitely, and when it comes to an end, we are in for a hell of a ride economically, politically and socially.
I remember 9/11, it was a tuesday. My mom didnt stop watching tv for hours. To me it was "normal", I wasnt schoked desu My friends at school were talking about aircraft dogfights in Iraqi's sky I was 9 y/o I still don't care about 9/11, if americans were real men they would have attacked at least 2-3 mosquees or behead some jewish elites but no, they are giving their daughter to the nigs and voted for a black muslim president I piss on their flag, they are our worst allies
Eat a dick nigger, I was born in 1998 but I remember 9/11 from tv.
Daniel Rogers
I was born before that and knew about interest rates, student loans, credit, that a degree was a checkbox, and some were more useful than others. Am I included in your group?
Jacob Clark
Born in 97, and the only thing I remembered about 9/11 is from a front picture of a Scholastic Kids article.
Juan Myers
I was five years old, I would have just started first grade. I have no idea why I remember nothing about that day. I remember shit that happened that same year, and even shit that happened before it. But I have no memory of where I was or what I was doing on 9/11. Am I from another timeline?
Mason Smith
You're a Zoomer then
Jason Ortiz
Why do I get a depression-ish feeling every time i read the generations list? I think i looked at it like 5 times now and every time it gives me that same empty feeling
Anthony Smith
X-men Baggsy me as Wolverine (You can be t Coon)
Joseph Nguyen
>Not fucking some 1999 Zoomer pussy on Tinder.
Confirmed never gona make it brah.
Mason Miller
God I love being a Zoomer
Jace Morales
I don't get the Zoomer meme. What makes them so distinct from Millenials? The fact they don't remember 9/11? The time before the internet? Before smartphones? Before.... >Oh.
Charles Rogers
The Zoomers are the final generation, the generation that shall implement fascism.
Leo Peterson
I was born in the mid 90s, remember 9/11. Identify more with Zoomers than millenials.
The fact that we even have "generations" is fucking disgusting. How can society exist if every ten years some new buttfuck happens that Puts the new generation against the rest?
Luke Moore

Joshua Stewart
>>we're going to live in a world where people never knew a pre-trump world >>its like 9/11 except i'm not a teenager
>>we technically already live in a pretrump world because he's been famous for so long
>>tfw i'm actually one of those people who never knew a pre-trump world
The drawing line between Millennials and Zoomers is a complicated one. I honestly think people born between 1994 and 1999 are their own little generation because they were born between the transitional phase of two extraordinarily different generations. It's probably why people born in those years are more likely to kill themselves and suffer from constant identity issues.
Matthew Watson
1982: generations started 1982-1986: the lost generation, were bro tier but had to get jobs and become normies 1987-1990: the greatest generation, invented memes, as well as shitposting Jow Forums into existence, but now left us and passed into the normie realm 1991-1994: the boomers, play doom and prefer the white sip above all others. one sip to rule them all. declared war on the zoomers in 2016 after twitch streaming cancer took over 1995-1997: gen Xers, generally antisocial and play runescape to this day. 'health conscious' and dont drink any sip 1998-2003: millenials, minecraft fanatics, they understand that bitcoin is the future, form the core of the 'alt right'. subservient to the boomers 2004-2009: zoomers, half of them are underage b&, they play fortnite religiously and drink lacroixx as their preferred sip. at constant war with the boomers 2010-present: no one knows, rumored to be a legendary 'gen alpha' that will save anime and help the boomers and zoomers see that they are part of the same battle against the normals (normals arent part of a generation) but could possibly end up trapped in a VR fucksim and cause the end of civilization
Damn I'm old. At age 13 I had my own fishing boat. Imagine that.
Noah Kelly
I was in third grade on 9/11
Andrew Morris
>you are a zoomer >you realize Trump's election is your big defining moment >as an old man children will look at you in awe when they find out you were a deplorable
>be gen zyklon >grow up around gen z and millenials >both are fucking faggots >they follow stupid trends and repeat mass media lies >most are cucked cunts who do drugs >tfw i realized most of them have jewish surnames and that the ones with Chilean surnames were based and redpilled >feels good man
Angel Wilson
I remember 9/11 very well. I remember watching on the TV and not knowing what was happening. I also remember mom crying to my Dad later that night. Still haunts me
hi welcome. this is pol. i think you misclicked your leftypol bookmark
Elijah Hughes
Holy shit. I mean don't get me wrong I laughed at some of them, but I fear for zoomers
Ryder Bell
That's old millennials who get triggered by being millennials
Kevin Ramirez
FUCK YOU IM NOT A ZOOMER I REMEMBER 9/11, 1997 is the cut off
Luke Hernandez
It varies from person to person. 97 is a transitional year.
Gabriel Carter
Millennials ended a little before that. Like 93 or 94. Childhoods that were interrupted by tech. Kids born in 96 were 5 when iPod came out. They did not have a pre tech childhood and cannot relate at all to older millennials
Camden Clark
The iPod wasn't that intrusive compared to the iPhone
Julian Gonzalez
I agree. But still. They’re not joined to older millennials. Born in 91 I can relate to older millennials bc I had half a childhood in the cd/cassette world. I saw the disruption. Faggots born in 96 are not in the group. MAYBE 95 but I don’t think so. 96 fuck no
Isaiah Perry
Ok whatever. 1982-1995 millennials 1996-2011 zoomers. Happy now?
Juan Fisher
Yes.
Robert Ross
>underage
brainlet
Kayden Gomez
>Gen Xer >born 1962 >remembers moon landing >remembers 1st vaccination, has the scar to prove it, with associated crying from loneliness and despair in metal-sided hospital crib after vaccination >remembers beginning of tonsil operation at a young age, and stench of the black rubber gas mask while I was going under We are not all the same, fren. Be careful how you judge.
The Ipod didn't even get popular until like 2005. I'd say being able to remember before Youtube and Myspace would determine if someone had a digital upbringing. 1996ers and 1997ers would be the last ones to have a solid grasp of the 'old world'. They don't really belong in the same category as early 90s people who can remember the late 90s, but they share even less in common with kids born in the 2000s who had their baby photos shared on myspace
Jordan Long
You're a Late Boomer. People who were in high school in the disco 70s are not Gen X.
Levi Garcia
>Late Boomer Try again, faggot. I didn't grow up with any spoon in my mouth. The disco thing took place mostly in the 80s, and the rockers that came out of the 70s were also Gen Xers. Also, high school in the 70s in Canada was pretty fucking awesome. Sex, drugs, and rock and roll were all my friends by 14.
Ryder Jackson
You're still a physical boomer though. The Baby Boom ended in Canada in 1966 and 1964 in the U.S.
Juan Reyes
imagine being this retarded in general, but especially about how society works and what defines a generation
