What happened to make america the superpower it is today? We only came here a few centuries ago and now we're that fat giant on the side of the planet everybody knows about. How the fuck does that happen? But also, what went so wrong? When are we going to collapse under the weight of multiculturalism?
What went so right?

Anglo-Germanic people
Protestant work ethic
because the euros got assraped by ww1 and ww2 while the us mainland was pretty much untouched. it's easy to be the tallest man standing if everyone else is cut down (in this case carpet bombed)
>What happened to make america the superpower it is today?
Slavery. That and the natural resources of the land. They both provided huge ammounts of capital.

World War II
One of the richest pieces of land I. The world with the easiest terrain to move stuff around in the world with oceans and mountains on the boarders as protection. Also full of white people who didn't trust government for a while which helps too
America is full of cliffs, hills, mountains, and deep rivers. Believe me, it is not easy to move cargo around america.
Geography. The US has the worst system of government invented (Republic) and the most evil people to ever walk the earth (Anglos) as its inhabitants, but it worked in spite of itself for 250 years or so.
MAGA
If that's the case then Brazil should be a superpower also, however as we all know it's not. Natural resources and slavery don't make a superpower. Good leadership and a powerful military does.
Seriously, how FUCKED would the rest of the world be if america became a solely white nation?
The ruling class would just start importing nonwhites again for money. Such is life in a Republic.
Government started small, majority white, huge resource rich landscape
Short answer: geography and demographics

Three words: The Gilded Age
Think about how much change happened between 1870 and 1918. Yeah it sucked for some people, but just the poor and stupid ones
What if we say... replace it with fascism?
profiteering from 2 world wars and a proxy war with another superpower. We'll collapse at the end of the century, also trips.
The US has not had a particularly strong military for most of the time it has existed. The sort of military dominance we currently have is something that has only been maintained since the end of WWII.
They'd launch a color revolution against it so they could get back to importing immigrants.
Mississippi River is pretty big, makes things ridiculously cheap to move around. Big flat ground in most areas. Compared to some countries that don't even have a port that's pretty nice. America has more water pathways that can be used to cheaply move goods than every other country in the world combined.
A massive migration of people with the same mindset of independence, god given rights and strong work ethics came to a land rich with resources and far enough away from the modern world to avoid petty conflicts with neighbors.
Later on Europe kept burning itself to the ground only to have America show up at the last moment to save the day and take out contracts to help rebuild Europe.
What went wrong was letting (((them))) in followed by rights for minorities and women which resulted in multiculturalism.
America was the strongest when the entire population was living with a similar mindset/ideology but now we are a bowl of reese pieces our unity dwindles and the average man hates the guts of his fellow man.
In the broader sense this is very true, but soldier for soldier we have always seemingly had the best on the planet for some reason. From the revolution where we beat the English with significantly less of everything, to our actions in Cuba, to our K:D ratio in Korea, Vietnam and Persian Gulf and the wars of today. It's something about the American soldier that sets us apart from the rest. Our willingness to share information with one another (unlike arabs), our ability to leverage technology down to the individual level in innovative ways (unlike the asians) our ability to think outside of the box, and to allow risks to be taken without significant punishment down to the level of the local commander (LT's) (Unlike the Europeans) or the sincere patriotism and altruism that many of our soldiers possess (unlike the spics, asians, arabs, and niggers)....something about the American soldier sets us apart. I served for 14 years in the infantry (Army) from 18-32 and trained alongside foreign soldiers from all over the world. More than twenty different countries and one thing I always recognized was that our soldiers were always more disciplined than theirs were, every single time. Russians, Estonians, French, German, Britsh, Sudanese, Iraqi, Kurdish, Italian, Australian, japanese, even JDF once....ours were always noticeably better trained, better equipped and more disciplined than theirs were. A notable difference
