>1/3 of U.S. Presidents were Freemasons (Washington, Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt included) >Benjamin Franklin was a Grand Master Freemason of his own lodge >Mozart was the son of a Freemason and a Freemason himself >Oscar Wilde was a Freemason >Voltaire was a Freemason >Lodges all over the world that you have access to, with the correct paperwork >Focus on self improvement and personal character
worshiping Lucifer generally doesn't end well. fuck freemasonry right in it's dishonest asshole
Andrew Miller
>Why aren't you a Freemason again, Jow Forums? I am. But are you? If not why are you making this thread?
Joseph Howard
There are no political ties to Freemasonry and most lodges outright ban the discussion of politics or religion within their walls for peace of mind. >Nazis >Relevant Common misconception, Freemasonry actually has nothing to do with devil worship. You shouldn't believe propaganda from the Catholic Church, it taints the mind and you end up living in a worse world because of it.
Thomas Moore
Because it's a relic of an organization where 60 and 70-year-old men gather around, drink whiskey, and bitch about their wives while they eagerly await their next homoerotic club initiation when some 20-year-old autist falls for their bullshit and still thinks that it's 1930?
Michael Butler
I was asked at work to talk about my membership, since people had some general questions to float by me, and I realized I had never actually seen a thread discussing Freemasonry on Jow Forums without some really dumb lean on it. Focusing on self improvement should be a timeless concept that transcends borders.
Nicholas Brooks
>Who is Albert Pike >What is the Luciferian Doctrine
inb4 "I'm not a Scottish Rite Mason". So mote you fuck off.
Dylan Adams
I want to be one, but I'm not rich. How can I join?
>I had never actually seen a thread discussing Freemasonry on Jow Forums without some really dumb lean on it. Every other day there’s a “what do think of freemasonry?” thread but because Jow Forums is retarded it’s full of comments like the one you see here.
Hudson Foster
Look up the grand lodge in your country.
Gabriel Hernandez
>One man defines a century-spanning international organization >An organization that has no official ties to any established organization or religious doctrine is related significantly on a doctrine that relies specifically on the King James edition of the Christian Bible Are you in high school or something?
Angel Myers
You'll have to contact the Grand Lodge of your area.
They worship the "Great Architect of the Universe" which is just globalist indocrination because it was created by Rothschild kikes to influence local elites around the world to do what they want.
Kayden Perez
Do I just show up? Don't I need some kind of recommendation or something?
Ayden Martinez
>Who is William Morgan
Face it, anti-masonry won 200 years ago. The craft has been losing membership steadily since the 60's.
Colton Jenkins
I want to join them but i'm only 25. Feel like i have to wait until i'm at least 30.
Zachary Cook
Because it's literally crypto-Jewry. Any decent book about Freemasonry won't hide it.
John Hill
You can just show up but probably easier to call them, if they exist. They will put you in touch with your local lodge, which will let you apply. They will then vote on your membership and, assuming you are not blackballed (vote to reject you), you will be contacted about how to proceed.
Ryder Reyes
Why risk eternal damnation for hollow fame, power and glory in this short life?
Julian Scott
>assuming you are not blackballed What could cause this?????
William Taylor
So you are saying if you do not follow the bible blindly as some random preacher tells, you will go to hell? They are more religious than most out there.
Angel Diaz
It's an extension of Judaism
Grayson Peterson
It's really not
Christopher Perez
>Stuffing your post this hard with irrelevant terms Are you posting just for the sake of posting? The need to believe in an Architect stems from members of the organization requiring something to be able to place the weight of your trust into in order to secure you with the knowledge and privilege of becoming a Freemason. Most lodges operate on a local level, with very few members ascending to their Grand Lodge. It's an organization that promotes self improvement, this is the root of all published doctrine that is recognized by Freemasons. Suggesting a non-political, non-religious entity is somehow created with the intent on controlling individuals is just stupid. As long as your record is clean, contact the Grand Lodge and go from there. >The actions of men long dead somehow corrupt centuries worth of literature dedicated to self improvement Powerful men used their local connections as established through their local lodge in order to commit a crime for the purpose of remaining powerful men, this is wrong and anyone who is a Freemason doesn't accept this as anything less. As for membership stats, I don't really have them, but I've never found a shortage of any. I joined when I turned 21. It naturally accommodates all religions that incorporate a single higher power, unless some specific subtext goes against your flavor of Christianity. Most everyone at my lodge is a Christian.
Easton Martin
They will investigate your life and ask you questions in an interview. But the initial vote on your application will be debated in the lodge and one single vote against you will reject your application. The vote is anonymous and there’s no discussion as to why a rejection was cast, usually.
The Architect shit is just humanist garbage to accept any freak because they don't care what you believe they just want you to believe their shit and follow their orders.
And of course only a few people ascend on it, it is just to herd small time influential men with their agenda, and some goodest goyim is promoted.
Chase Foster
Because I want to keep my dick intact with my body.
Jeremiah Johnson
It really is just for the conversation and coffee, really. You'll find people when traveling who will treat you like family when they recognize you as a member, it's pretty great. Everyone should treat each other with this much warmth as a standard, but obviously we don't live in that kind of world. Being able to check out any lodge of where I'm located is also pretty neat. I joined in one state and frequently stop by my home-state's lodge located near my hometown whenever I go to visit. Outside of the lodge? Nothing much. There's other groups for pretty much every role you could look to fill in society, Freemasonry is really for self improvement purposes. No conflict of interest, so yes. This isn't a cult or a religion, you're an individual.
Jaxon Carter
You will sold yourself to the kikes for a little bit of nepotistic support.
Lincoln Richardson
NPCs won’t like it, if that’s what you mean. I enjoy the self improvement aspect of it. That kind of spirituality is severely lacking in today’s societies. There is ample opportunity for study and some research lodges hold educational events. If you don’t like reading about things like the 7 liberal arts (classical liberal arts), you won’t enjoy it.
Jose Torres
Outside the lodge it’s social events, etc. Normal stuff.
>How do people react when you tell them you're a freemason? I never do this.
Doesn't lodge demands you have to pay membership? It looks like it's just a LARPing racket ponzi scheme.
Jacob Cooper
Secret Societies such as Freemasons gave rise to Hitler.
Joseph Parker
No it requires alot of gay sex now. Some even have to castrate themselves.
Asher Lee
All social clubs ask for this. The membership fee is extremely low and goes to the upkeep of the lodge and charity.
Kevin Martin
>ponzi scheme I DERPed there a bit, I waqnted to say pyramid scheme.
Parker Robinson
I¨ve met several Masons and they seem like good people, they tried to help me every time i spoke to them. I also have a few in the extended family which are a member.
Okay, i would find that interesting i think. But is there anything negative about it if you could think of any? Does it take a large commitment? Do you have to hold regular speeches in the lodge and pay much in contributions as you rankup?
John Foster
How low are we talking about? Monthly or yearly?
Adrian Evans
>Why aren't you a Freemason again, Jow Forums? because there is no bureau where you can apply. I also don't want to fuck and kill ad sacrifice children to form a bond with satan so my "mates" can blackmail me if I ever start feeling doubt about what I'm doing.
Angel Torres
What do you's even do? Why should I join?
Asher Hall
I don't want to serve the jew or satan.
Dylan Myers
Eventually the church in Rome was infiltrated by the Cathars, hence Catholic church.
>people worth remarking on 200 years ago were freemasons >so you should be one too Probably the dumbest shit I've read this week. It's obvious Freemasons outlived their purpose when you old faggots are relying on figures from the enlightenment.
Eat a dick.
Jeremiah Evans
When I go to bed tonight I'm going to be upset at myself for taking the time to respond to an idiot like you, but do you seriously believe what you're writing? You're panting such fucking broad strokes across millions of individuals over thousands of years who you know nothing about for the purposes of furthering the joke that is "the jews operate the world" instead of fostering an actual dialogue. The stated reason of the need to believe in an Architect is what I wrote above, what you wrote is just meaningless. If you have nothing to give your word to, it isn't worth anything beyond your ability to say and believe in it. Most organizations require some weight behind your word other than yourself. Wrong organization. You need to assist in paying for your outfit and literature, as well as an annual fee to keep your local lodge stocked and the lights running. It's negligible in terms of budgeting for anyone who knows how to. The Freemasons were one of the groups persecuted by Nazi Germany. The Nazis gained control of Germany through several elections across a period of years and by persuading the general public, not any back room deals. You don't really pay more money as you go up, aside from the new outfit, and even then you don't have to accept any promotion or further commitment than just what you're ranked as. It's not a large commitment at all.
James Robinson
I pay the equivalent of $70 yearly. With that I can go to any lodge, get free meals before/after (though I always leave a charitable donation because it would be unfair imo), and speak with likeminded men.
You can do as much or as little as you want, it’s all about making good men better. You can take on enormous commitments if you would like to help run the lodge. You don’t need to hold any speeches, but you are invited to speak if you want to.
Nolan Gutierrez
i dont think theyd want me im a fat neet and if they would want me then it cant be much of an organization
Michael Rogers
You can sign up and you are not required this on the lower levels once you start to go past the 33rd is where the "fun" starts.
They sit around and talk about arranging picnics. It used to be a way for people to convene and talk about philosophy without overzealous christian assholes being the notorious faggots we remember them for being and killing them, but since the Enlightenment thinkers thoroughly flattened this dogma forever they as an organization no longer have any reason for being.
Everything they studied and talked about is widely available and free to read at any time. Freemasons of today know absolutely fuck all about any of that.
Bentley Walker
Always interesting how non members talk about what goes on.
Tyler Campbell
No
Ayden Clark
Becuase he ded. He no do wut he wont he do wet his told
Matthew Jackson
Initial application start and annual fee, if you ever get new clothes it's out of your pocket. You are severely misled. Personally I stick to reading most of the literature provided and the discussions. It's a non-religious entity, did you even read the thread before posting? Are you in the right thread? Great men who sculpted history were all members of the organization, yeah. It's a great feeling to know you're part of the same fraternity. If you're ever interested in being the version of yourself you wanted to become I can't think of any better way than becoming a Freemason. I've never gotten any of this.
Lincoln Cooper
Shut the fuck up, pseud. I always love how boomers LARPing as Voltaire(with none of the education) pretend like there's anything special their gay mens spa has to offer intellectually that isn't available for free.
Admit it. You know I'm fucking right. You can't prove me wrong in the slightest. If Freemasons had anything to teach, it would take years to progress enough to be "worthy" of what is widely available INSTANTLY AND FREE ON THE INTERNET.
Austin Gray
...
Elijah Turner
Yes, masons were and still are another kike manipulated controlled opposition that worked in concert with Hitler, as both an excuse for his need for extremism and to provide cover for the ratfaced, talmudic supremacist, vichy working both sides of the operations to genocide Europes indigenous gentile ethnicities.
>It's a great feeling to know you're part of the same fraternity. You aren't though. There is no correspondence or continuation. A person today could say they are a Neoplatonist but that doesn't mean they know about the rituals of the old Platonic schools or have any extended brotherhood to them.
Jeremiah Torres
>Personally I stick to reading most of the literature provided and the discussions So what kind of literature do they tend to provide? What kind of discussions do you's have? What rank are you?
Nicholas Anderson
>thousands of years Freemasonry is a fringe club created in the 18th century to feed subversive ideals to the goyim, associating themselves with stuff from all over the world to claim some legitimancy.
Cooper Sanchez
I almost live right beside my the lodge in my city. Can i just knock on the door and ask to look around? What takes me away a little is that you commit yourself for life to something you don't know fully what is.
Blake Hughes
Every one keeps mentioning self improvement, what does that even mean?
You are still low level. When you reach the higher levels, you will understand what REALLY goes on. It will make Eyes Wide Shut look like Mary Poppins.
Samuel Perez
Wrong. It is a spiritual successor to Pythagoric/Platonist/Neoplatonist/Rosicrucian schools and their secret rituals that has lost this vision and purpose in the last century.
Freemasonry is totally defunct and void of legitimacy today but that doesn't mean it was always like that.
They held me against my will and threatened me. To escape I threatened to burn down the lodge. They stalk people, harrass people and use their positions to ruin peoples lives. They do this to the sons and grandsons members. Tghy also did this to returning veterans, driving many to homelessness and suicide. In my experience.
Colton Reyes
>You can't prove me wrong in the slightest. What exactly are you looking for? The ideas of becoming a better person and studying interesting topics haven’t become irrelevant. Lodges have big libraries and not every book is on the internet yet. All I see from your posts are angry ad hominem and strawman fallacies. Again, you have no idea what happens or what is promoted.
Tyler Campbell
Sucking kike dick. When "everyone" seems to be pushing an idea all at once, it is often the newest (((scam))).
>Pythagoric/Platonist/Neoplatonist/Rosicrucian I would also add Egyptian/Babylonian at the front of that but this part is speculative and nonverifiable.
Christopher Phillips
>The ideas of becoming a better person and studying interesting topics haven’t become irrelevant. One doesn't need to suck off old dudes like you do to any of this.
Andrew Long
I will not knock on the door, I expect to be invited
Cooper Long
Ok kid, sure.
Samuel Butler
>They stalk people, harrass people and use their positions to ruin peoples lives. Truth. Any basic research in this topic will provide an abundance of such accounts. They're basically like the Anti-Defamation League.
Andrew Reyes
It's a Talmudic Religion. The Jewish Tribune newspaper, in 1927, in an editorial, stated: "Freemasonry is based on Judaism. Eliminate the teachings of Judaism from the Masonic ritual and what is left?"
"Kabalah is the key of the occult sciences." -- Albert Pike, 33rd Degree Mason, as quoted from secondary source "Secret Teachings of the Masonic Lodge" by Ankerberg and Weldon, page 219
freemasons sponsor nigger immigration into white countries, and they collect dues from members to give buy clothes to give to niggers
freemasons are tumblristas and redditors
actually that is it, freemasonry is the original reddit
Luis Bennett
>what is left?" The Pythagoric aspects, which is what the Kabbalah is plagiarized from anyway. But, as I've said repeatedly, there is 0 reason to join a Freemason lodge today. Total waste of time just trying to earn the approval of self-important geezers who will be fertilizer soon.
Gabriel Edwards
Sure are a lot of threads about it for people who don’t care. Shame they’re full of hysterical nonsense like your posts.
Asher Nguyen
I think i want to read and do some research on what they are about before i consider to join, which books are good on this?
