The discussion shouldn't be about gun control but rather appropriate use of force or deadly force in this case. This was a situation that did not require deadly force to diffuse it. It was a fucking dirty mattress, I can't fathom how that would rile someone up to the extent that they'd be in a state of mind to kill someone.
