AUS/POL/ ABC INTERFERENCE EDITION

Evening lads. Anyone know how to find Bill Shortens or Tanya Plibersek's itinerary each week? I feel like they need reminding that Bill Shorten literally had to pay a woman $500,000 to a woman in compensation for raping a woman in 1986.

Are you ready for 1 million chink immigrants every year?
sbs.com.au/news/australia-s-new-immigration-minister-reveals-visa-priority
>The immigration portfolio was separated from Peter Dutton’s Home Affairs ministry and given to Mr Coleman, as well as the Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs ministries.
“Immigration has been so fundamental to our success as a country,” he said.
“The history of our nation is one of immigration because, apart from Indigenous Australians, we're all immigrants.”
Fourty-four per cent of his electorate is overseas-born, with people of Chinese ancestry being the largest migrant group.

Looks full to me

>The history of our nation is one of immigration because, apart from Indigenous Australians, we're all immigrants
yeah because the people from england who emigrated here and built this country are the same as the chinese and indian cunts who are here simply to live off welfare and eat dogs

user, it's the Korean's that eat dog get it right m8.

they all do disgusting shit so how does it matter? the muslims turn 13 year old girls into kebabs, the niggers kill pensioners

we need to deport every cunt here on a visa

>pioneers, explorers and settlers are indistinguishable from immigrants
risking your life on a disease infested boat to have natives chuck spears at you while you try to build a settlement so that you and your family don't starve to death is the same as some effete pounce catching a flight from heathrow to melbourne. these vermin are so tiresome

An ABC broadcaster has lashed out at his former boss just hours after she was sacked halfway through her five-year term.

Radio host Jon Faine launched an incredible on-air spray at Michelle Guthrie, whose position as the public broadcaster's managing director was terminated on Monday.

Faine, who hosts the morning program on ABC radio in Melbourne, said Ms Guthrie 'wouldn't advocate for us, which is an astonishing fail'.

'Staff morale has never been so low,' Faine said.

'(She was) given the benefit of the doubt because she was a woman. She was smart and we were excited. But she was only interested in a few parts of the organisation.'

He said Ms Guthrie had 'been all but invisible' and when she was approached, all she would respond with 'was all jargon'.

Faine, who has been with the ABC since 1989, also said he had confronted Ms Guthrie about why she was not the staff's 'champion'.

'I personally had two conversations with Michelle Guthrie about why she would not be our champion, why she would not engage, she said 'it's not my style',' he said.

Faine had been an outspoken critic of Ms Guthrie - who became managing director in May 2016 - during her tenure.

Earlier this year, he said Ms Guthrie 'has been remarkably quiet and reluctant to engage in what she herself previously has described as megaphone campaigning'.

Sally Neighbour, the executive producer of the ABC's flagship 4Corners program, also hit out at Ms Guthrie following her shock dismissal.

Ms Neighbour shared a link to an ABC article report on the decision to dump Ms Guthrie as the public broadcaster's managing director on her Twitter page.

'Excellent decision,' Ms Neighbour wrote.

The host of the ABC's nightly news bulletin in Sydney, Juanita Phillips, also weighed in on the sacking.

'Whoever the next MD is, they need a deep understanding of the history, purpose and importance of an independent public broadcaster, and be ready to fight bare-knuckled to protect it,' Ms Phillips wrote.

>Political interference
is bread and butter for the ABC

- 'I want to see an ABC that's strong and doing its job and the board does as well.' - Prime Minister Scott Morrison

- 'I've got to say, I'm perplexed. I heard the report just before this media conference, I had a look at the statement from the board, I don't think that really clarifies matters.' - Labor deputy leader Tanya Plibersek

- 'What on earth is the government's explanation for Michelle Guthrie's apparent sacking as head of the ABC. The ABC's future is owned by all Australians.' - Former PM Kevin Rudd

- 'This seems like a great chance to bring in someone who will help the ABC become more fair and balanced. I nominate @PMOnAir (Sky News presenter Paul Murray).' - One Nation leader Pauline Hanson

- 'I am devastated by the board's decision to terminate my employment despite no claim of wrongdoing on my part.' - Michelle Guthrie

- 'Whatever happens next, the ABC needs a strong advocate at the helm who will stand up to the relentless attacks from the coalition government and their anti-ABC cronies.' - Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young

- 'I am hopeful that the new managing director will ensure that that the Ultimo-centric broadcaster is more in line with the aspirations of Australians including by delivering benefit to the taxpayer, stopping the left-wing bias and bringing an end to the frolics masquerading as news and 'comedy' from some ABC employees.' - Liberal senator Eric Abetz

- 'We feel it is time for a new vision and new direction for the ABC to emerge, allowing journalists and content makers to get on with the job of serving audiences with the content they trust.' - Journalists' union MEAA

- 'Excellent decision.' - Sally Neighbour, 4Corners executive producer

Is this a bad joke? It says that the liberal party was interfering with the ABC.

>“We believe APRA may want [borrowers with a debt-to-income of greater than six times] down to around a 10 per cent market share, far below our current estimate of around 33 per cent,” he says.
>“[This] could sharply cut borrowing capacity for anyone with existing debt.”
>Tharenou also says this could mean the end of the “multiple property ownership model” whereby borrowers used capital gains on existing properties to secure finance to buy additional investment properties.
oh thank god it's finally coming to an end

Expecting someone to do their job properly when they don't want to can be seen as 'interference', can't it?

Justin Milne literally fired someone because the Coalition complained to him about the journalist. That's not him "doing his job" that's the liberal party interfering. The ABC is supposed to be an independent broadcaster.

>liberal party was interfering with the ABC
this is only a story because the ALP and Greens don't have to "interfere" to get the coverage they want

Attached: 1534359881149.jpg (2598x3260, 1.17M)

I thought the convicts were brought here in chains against their will like the american negroes

I'm oppressed and sheeeiiit. Gibsmedat mudda fugga.

but firing insubordinate employees IS his job especially when they oversee things like - children shows sympathizing with ISIS, using Anzac day and Australia Day to shame Australians

and lets us not forget this little gem
i.4cdn.org/wsg/1537779806091.webm

How the fuck am I supposed to find a job that I am actually interested in, and that wont make me want to kill myself.

You're an idiot. The Chairman of the ABC was literally going to sack someone because the Coalition was complaining, that is not a broadcaster being independent.
>In 2014 a royal commission found that the ABC had a heavy slant favouring the Coalition on the tele
suck my dick faggot, the ABC is the least biased news Australia has.
Insubordinate? What the fuck? It's not state propaganda for the Coalition or current government you retard, the ABC is an independent news organization who is supposed to remain independent of the government. In no way can you claim that firing a journalist because it "is criticizing the government" remaining independent.

Sorry, it was a 2009 study.
> A 2009 study by academics Joshua Gans and Andrew Leigh found the ABC overall "close to the center position" but with its television news "significantly slanted" towards the Coalition

I've never worked with a person that liked their job and I've never worked at a job I've liked.
The only think I like about work is the money.

>children shows sympathizing with ISIS,

When the fuck did this happen?

Reminder that if you're

Go get yourself some equipment, and find yourself a hunting ground for Sambar or Hog deer.
Sambar are overbreeding and are becoming pests, with an incapacity to be killed due to high regulations and low gun culture influence, and bureaucratic turmoil over culling as an answer.
Hog are usually quite rare, but there have been accounts of them popping up quite commonly as of late as well.

Do your part, and earn your prize. I look forward to seeing some antlers across the wall.

Asking the ABC to tone down their radical leftism is "political interference"? Just fucking abolish it right now and spend the money on a new billion dollar hospital every year.

>she wouldn't fire a journalist
>because Malcom boo hoo

you do realise that's fake news that they use to activate their 'rent a crowd' flash mob union circle jerk, don't you?

Baseless accusations. But please, continue your convincing argument.
Sure have convinced me user.

I'll say it once, I'll say it a thousand times: The ABC is an independent broadcaster, they are to remain independent from the government, all decisions are to remain independent. If you want to see a state broadcaster go and get your news from RT.

>Aboriginal grievance is confected, phony, manufactured and illegitimate. Don't even acknowledge it as real.
This, uluru is only religiously significant to ONE (1) aboriginal tribe.
Only a couple tribes ever played the didgeridoo.

And yet they all cry and act like they are mega important to all of them for some reason.

>Baseless accusations.
please, how young and naive are you really?

Q&A
That is the prime example of the mindset of the staff at the ABC.

Inter-tribal grievances are the reason they capitulated and is evident now in the failure of the #recognise campaign, they don't and have never liked eachother and act like crabs in a bucket.
Doing well in school? Got a good job? Think you're better than us ya dawg?

>Australia
everything*

>I'll say it once, I'll say it a thousand times: The ABC is an independent broadcaster, they are to remain independent from the government, all decisions are to remain independent.

See If you really don't think that the media can't be influenced in anyway you're naive as fuck.

>Teacher says ABC youth program Behind the News so left-leaning in its reports that primary school students were being encouraged to support Islamic State

>A FORMER teacher of Punchbowl Public School who blew the whistle on early radicalisation of Muslim children, says the left-wing slant of ABC education program "Behind the News" encouraged her students' support of Islamic State.

>Behind The News or "BtN", watched by more than a million students aged between 8 and 13 each week, is the kiddies' version of the Green Left Weekly, with a leftist slant on everything from refugees to climate change and terrorism.

>Mrs A says that in 2014, when Islamic State was rampaging through Syria and Iraq, BtN aired stories which she saw as "taking a sympathetic view" to ISIS.

EMU FUCKERS BTFO

>If you really don't think that the media can't be influenced in anyway you're naive as fuck.
Prove that they are being influenced in a "left leaning way" then faggot. All the evidence supports that they are centre-left. The 2009 study shows that their television news slanted heavily right.

>Prove that they are being influenced in a "left leaning way"
did you even see this i.4cdn.org/wsg/1537779806091.webm

This is what is known as "anecdotal evidence"

2009 was 9 years ago my man.

The construction and fortification of the Perpetual Abo Victimhood Industry continues a pace. All this shit about moving Australia Day has become more pronounced the last couple years, now they're not even waiting till Australia Day to reeee about it. Its a complete non-issue that sucks air time from actual important shit.

Nobody in this country gives a flying fuck about butthurt abos, their 20,000 different ewok languages or kindy-tier dot paintings except the fucking greens, labour and virtue signalling leftists. Fuck off with this shit

fuck off

I think David Icke went to see some shaman abos once

and this.....
youtu.be/bVujxKA7SIE

Are you one of those morons who think that left and right only pertains to economic issues? The ABC is a frothing cauldron of cultural marixst poison. Their idea of fair and balanced is having 50% of the staff being greens voters and the other 50% labor.

how about some direct evidence

>For instance, after a terrorist attack in Paris in 2015 which killed 130 people, including 89 hostages at the Bataclan theatre, BtN (Behind the News, ABC) posed the question: "Why would Islamic State kill so many innocent people?" It answered: "We don't know for sure why Islamic State targeted Paris ... But ISIS says the Paris attacks were revenge for the French bombing it in Syria." But we do know why Islamic State targeted Paris, since it issued a statement describing the city as "the capital of fornication and vice".

>Invite right wing politicians and fucking IPA Board members onto the drum and Q and A regularly
>Do massive unnecessary restructuring of radio national
>Fire your technology correspondant for daring to say that using copper to build an internet network is a bad idea

>FFFFFFFFFFFUCKING LEFTIST ABC BIAS SELL IT OFF TO SKY NOOZ

Appeasing right wing fuckheads not even once

Attached: teehee.jpg (1024x576, 62K)

>At the most recent federal election in 2016, a study commissioned by the ABC and conducted by iSentia compiled share-of-voice data and found that the ABC devoted 42.6% of election coverage to the Coalition government (this compares to the 42.04% vote received by the Coalition in the House of Representatives (HOR)), 35.9% to the Labor opposition (34.73% HOR), 8% to the Greens (10.23% HOR), 3.1% to independents (1.85% HOR), 2.2% to Nick Xenophon's Team (1.85% HOR) and 8.1% to the rest. However, the ABC itself notes the "significant limitations around the value of share of voice data" as "duration says nothing about tone or context"

Watch out boys we've got a "statistics" guy here.

What's this Shorten rape/payout allegation, broofs?

Well this fuckwit is a fuckwit

Canada and South Africa both have their versions of the ABC too. Taxpayer-funded leftist propaganda is like a disease that follows white people around the world.

>Kathy alleges she was raped by Mr Shorten at a Labor youth conference in Portarlington in the winter of 1986 when she was just 16. The qualified community nurse completed a 19-page police statement on October 23 last year with detectives from Victoria Police's Sexual Offences Squad.

>"The police rang me in April (2014) and told me they had called Bill in for questioning," she said.

>"They then said the case was closed and that they weren't going to reopen it."

>$500,000 to a woman in compensation for raping a woman in 1986
Was it adjusted for inflation?

The poor thing. He votes for the greens.
