Mississauga is an immigration hub. The cities population doubled in only 25 years so that really fucks up the demographics. Unlike most cities where there is an aging population, Mississauga has only 10% of population at or above retirement age due to overwhelming number of young families moving in from overseas. 53% of the cities population are now first generation immigrants with families. India and Pakistan are the primary minorities and the city is now 12% Islamic.
