I've looked into it and found that the heart of the porn industry lies within a secretive company called MindGeek, whose main office is in Luxembourg, but has an office in LA. They're an "influencing company" (mindgeek.com/) whose main goal seems to be to push certain types of content to the masses. Notice how their website doesn't actually say what they do and uses so much evasive language? Because they actively push certain content onto porn sites to try to influence the masses.
They own PornHub, Brazzers, XVideos, and a whole lot of other familiar names. Porn stars get blacklisted from the industry when they even mention MindGeek.
If anyone more disgusted by porn than myself reads this and wants to take action: MindGeek is your target. Not the small puppet names they use such as PornHub.
How do we deal with them and their almost conspiratorial hold on the industry?

Taking out these sites will not solve the porn problem. New sites will just take their place. No one is forcing millions of people to view porn. It's just what people naturally want. And "muh degeneracy" is not a good moral argument against stopping people from doing what they want. If you want porn to change, then you need to get people to change. Promote no fap, how porn affects the mind, etc.
The taste profile seems invariably useless. You can toggle dislike on all the sheboon, cock-addled, interracial porn you like but guess what? They still show up. Now you can even toggle "not interested" on videos that are related... and guess what. It does nothing.
For the moment, you can do modifiers like "-ebony" in your search and they work so long as the it has that tag but I have to wonder how long that will continue to function.
