a lot of people are waking up and realizing all the bullshit in society that is stuffed down our throats either doesn't help them or actively undermines their success. While in many ways this is a fantastic time to be alive, it's also horrible for the young. Simple entry into society as a working person requires around $200,000 spent on education to get a $40k job where you can barely pay your bills. Forced diversity doesn't help anything and is just a waste of money and effort. It's easier now to get on hormone pills and "transition" than it is to live as an actual man.

On top of that, remember all those problems in 2008? None of them were fixed. Zero. All the world's nations essentially inflated their way out of the hole, increasing the amount of available cash by something like 4x. All that money got dumped into real estate so now you can't even buy a house under $500,000 in most areas with jobs.

Social security is a farce and we will never see a dime of it, and our politicians are so corrupt that literally the entire media was gunning for one candidate and refused to admit defeat.

On top of all this, as a working person, you are increasingly competing on a global labor market. Low and mid level jobs that don't require physical presence are still going overseas. At university, you are competing with millionaire kids from China. Houses are being driven up in price by chinese and south american "investors" with dirty money they are trying to offshore.

Trying to explain this to retired boomers is like teaching your dog differential calculus. They just don't get it. They have their pensions, their beach house in florida, and their social security checks to cash.

Gen Z really isn't a unified generation like millennials who sometimes appear to be part of a weird hivemind of bad political and economic decisions. What determines a Gen z's political beliefs depends on where and how they grew up.

They're more extreme on both sides of the spectrum. The only parties that have been getting new members here are the social democrats and our ethno-nationalist conservative party.

20 y/o Zoomer here. It's true almost my entire graduating class wasn't just conservative, but lost of people bordering the extreme barrier. I remember, back in 2016 during the election, my Government teacher explained the pendulum swings back and forth between generations. He noted how the Liberal side was (in his opinion) becoming more radicalized by the day, and guessed our generation would be even more radical on the right.

His predictions aside, he warned us that the more radical we are, the more liberal our kids will be. He said it worried him that people are moving to cities and states that align with their political ideology, and stated that's how you get another civil war of left unchecked. I still think about that, and how me and my fiancé are going to move out of Illinois and go to either Texas or Kentucky, how I'm now apart of the problem.
