Russian fighter jets intercept U.S. F-22 Raptor flying over Syria
It's over, americans!
>grainy unsourced RT.com pictures are evidence

So they visually saw the jet flying?? whoop de doo...
Could they lock on and fire their weapons?
Not according to the article you linked...
BTFO.;....
>Could they lock on and fire their weapons?
that's a declaration of war
>The OLS-35, like and other IRST, does not provide target quality track data for weapons employment.
Raptor pilot probably knew he was being tracked. Fucking radar on a raptor can spot you before you can get close enough to take a pic
>having radar turned on
Kind of defeats the point of being stealth
foreign nations don't realize when they're being baited.
I also love the story of the Swedish submarine targeting a carrier, and a Chinese sub surfacing during naval drills with japan/sk.
Thanks for the data we've now collected you dumbasses
>unsourced
game screenshot, as always
So that's why they didn't or are you admitting they can't??
Infrared sensors have no ability to direct or guide weapons.
possibly both.
they could have taken down that f22 if they wanted to if that's what you're implying.
Ok, and.....
Ok, whats your point...
How much for that su 35? Our f-16s are getting old now and f-22 seems like not worth its price tag
Do it pussy
We dont sell the F-22
To any nation. Not even Israel
>Russians “intercepted” a 30 year old fighter jet for the first time
That’s some serious desperation
Shot it down and see who ich kvetching.
You should take a look at our super hornet. It's the poor man's f35
>hey Ivan we're going to have an F-22 flying through X corridor at Y altitude at Z time, please don't shoot it down as we've agreed
>ok American
>5 minutes later
>HAHAHA AMERICAN F-22 WEAK WE HAVE FOUND IT
It's just a targeting pod track, it can't necessarily guide weapons and if that F-22 was being used against the Russians they wouldn't have seen it.
AESA radars faggot, it can spread it's transmissions out in a way that makes it very difficult for older radar warning receivers to pick them up. The pilot obviously can be detected and maybe even located if he turns on his radar, but he's not going to be attacked unless the Russians have jets up ready to search the area his transmissions came from.
I'm really not asking anything. i already know the answer...Fact is they couldn't lock on with Infrared tracking...
Read the article. it clearly states tracking, locking on or deploying weapons is not possible with the system used to take a picture of the F-22...
IT IS NOT A WEAPON SYSTEM
Yeah, literally nothing.
HOLY SHIT WW3 HILLARY ACTUALLY WON FUCK I CAN HEAR ASSAD JUST FLEW OVER MY HOUSE
>HAHAHA AMERICAN F-22 WEAK WE HAVE FOUND IT
it was a trick from the very beginning
not very stealthy if you ask me. should be invisibel to american sources?
what game?
Millions are dead in Ash. Everything is on Fire. Fast. Some one give more power over to the State.
BUILDING.....BUILDING......BUILDING.....UNHOLD....CANCEL....UNIT READY......BUILDING.....BUILDING.....LOW POWER......UNIT READY.......YOUR BASE IS UNDER ATTACK
This
I knew it really was HER TURN
Now the US has no choice but to reveal some of their AYYYLMO reproduction vehicles.
Its all over!!!
I dunno, ask /v/. I'm sure they'll be able to figure out.
That's from modern warfare 2 isn't it?
pretty sure it was modern warfare ac 130 mission
That's old. Just a reminder they did this.
I won't back either side in this "which fighter is the best"-battle until an actual fight has taken place. F-22 intercepted russian airplanes several times last year, including the SU-35 FYI.
So who cares about intercepts? Bring us the real deal.
>you can shoot down an aicraft that has been visually aquired after being givien its location for deconfliction purposes as long as it continues to fly in a straight line
what's even the point?
Vatnik propaganda. Their target audience now believes the F-22 is a terrible aircraft or something. The point is to erode confidence in the USAF so Russia can get away with even more war crimes than they are currently.
>Russia
>war crimes
nice memes you bring here, nigger
