Why is Kavanaugh important for midterms?

That's true that he did work for Bush, but you typically work for one side or the other. In his new position, he's "supposed" to be fully non-partisan since it's a judge position. Imagine if a jury was biased, for example.

I fully think he would have been non-partisan had this whole RAPE fiasco not have arisen, that's why Trump wanted a "more conservative" judge over Kav. Trump was blown away that Dems rebelled against the pic.

When you have a 4-4 tie the decision goes back to the lower appeals courts---courts which routinely rule differently. The SCOTUS is supposed to supersede all of them.

The Democraps want it to be one of their "october surprises," in not getting him confirmed. Their attitude and actions toward this entire shitshow is the reality of their situation: They have votes in the form of the deranged, the criminal, and the demoralized. However, their public face right now is the worst it's ever been since television was invented. It 's so bad they have started to look demented even to welfare niggers. They can't get new voters because they're incompetent, evil fuckwits. Their strategy? Make it so that people don't vote Republican, or have that voting chunk split their votes and get lukewarm results everywhere. They must make "the enemy's" results low enough their own shit numbers pull them through.

The media has managed to cultivate the perception that "Kavanaugh = reputation of all republicans." People WILL be pissed if Kavanaugh doesn't get in. They WILL take it out on the voting booth, by going there and just voting against whomever it is they blame for it. They won't make an informed decision, or even be aware if their own state rep voted for the Kavanaugh. They'll be too mad, and see their rep as needing to be getting voted out, regardless of the stance that was taken.

Meanwhile, the zombie-sheep combination fuckups known as liberals will cult their way into the voting booth and drive up numbers for whomever the TV tells them to, and they'll do so as a solid block in their cities.

That is, in essence, why it IS important.

My stance on it is it's a safety net for democraps, to boot. They want to delegitimize the supreme court in advance because they know Ginsburg isn't long for this world. Even when Trump leaves office, if he stacks the court, democraps are positively FUCKED. "Well there is a rapist on the supreme court, you can't trust his decisions."

This is an absolute must win for Rs and Trump.
If they manage to derail Kav they won't have time to appoint, vet, and vote on anyone else before the midterms. This will mobilize the base of the left for record turnout.
Trump can't drain the swamp until Kav is in place.
It's do or die with this motherfucker.
