Typhoon 24 big about to fuck us up. JR and Metro lines in Tokyo all shut down about an hour ago. Might be some pretty serious damage /flooding over a very large area. I've never seen so many prefectures under extreme rain/storm surge warnings.
In yokosuka right now. Some decent wind but not a whole lotta rain. I think we'll be alright.

assuming work isn't delayed I got to try and sleep despite all this noise. Typhoon still hasn't even hit tokyo proper, its raining hard with wind but taxis are still out and a few people running on the street but looks like mostly tv crew. See if that Fukushima ice wall is worth the billions that were put into it tomorrow maybe.
Jesus you guys are getting pummeled. First Jongdari and now Jebi. Stay strong, Japanbros.
Colton Lopez
Oh wait, it's Trami, not Jebi.

Japan can handle natural disasters, they get more devastating events than any other country on earth. You’d rather be in a first world country born from the fires of disasters than some third world shithole that won’t be able to get the power back for 6 months
