In your case gazprom pays money to poland. It is included in price of gas. there are many pipelines. Poles have no technology and no ability to develop them, so they buy foregin equipment, russians use everything own so they have cheaper transit prices.

OVERNIGHT !!! and its still above global market price.
There are already first data avaible showing that not only we will buy cheaper gas than we do now, but we also earn a lot of money by reselling it.

Since Ukraine is such a useless shithole, they are dependent on these transit fees. Nord Stream 2 bypasses Ukraine (unreliable shithole) and US is scared that it will have to feed Ukranians. This is first reason. Second reason is that US wants to make money selling its overpriced LNG to Europe and is using every excuse to get Europeans to drop Russia's cheap gas for their own. Everything else is just typical fearmongering and blackmailing from US and its mouthpiece (Poland). Germany isn't falling for it.

The reason why Russia charges Baltic countries more than what they sell to Germany because Germany is a big market so they get referential treatments. That's how capitalism works. As for the affect of the new LNG terminal, the US gas price is still a lot higher then Russian ones. They only worry that LNG terminal will be the means for the US to sell gas at loss in case of intensive economic war. So they preemptively lower the price to make the project completely infeasible and the LNG port to go bankrupt before the total economic war that can come at anytime.

ukraine will most likely lose transport fees but desu it was never about the money for them, it was about security.
2ndly in case you didn't know ukraine is about to become energy exporter as well, not only they won't need russian gas anymore but they will also produce enough to sell some of it to the other countries as well.
3rdly as i already mentioned ukrainian pipeline is just one of the few, there are for example pipelines going through Belarus.

That means all those high-value added products such as precision machinery and pharmaceutical products has to directly compete with EU's ones in China and loses. In the mean times, the US' service industry, including entertainment will be dramatically reduced from making money in China. At the same time, US' product will have a hard time competing with China's in other market as USD is a lot more expensive.
