So last night I watched SNL for one of the few times in my life. I found it really itneresting to see just how blatant the bias is and how it brainwashes liberals.
For example, during Weekend Update there was a joke that if GOP Senators had to hire Rachel Mitchell to do their dirty work, then they're not fit to be Senators. This joke incorrecly implies that A) Liberals would have been happy with old white males questioning a sexual assault victim, B) They are actually open to hearing both sides, and C) White men should not hold office.
The left can't meme, but they are very good at smug jokes that intentionally paint a false narrative. In turn, these jokes and clips get posted online to further brainwash the clueless.

It hasn’t been funny for DECADES! At no point in my life has it ever been funny. I’m 35. There was some funny stuff that happened right before I was born that I watched on video thinking “huh.. this show was actually funny at one time”
What was ever funny in the last 35 years? It was always awful. Church lady was stupid. The Roxbury guys was stupid. Wayne’s World was stupid. Pat was stupid. Lady’s man was stupid. The jeopardy skit wasn’t funny. Will Farrell wasn’t funny on it. All their parodies were dumb. Right before I was born they had Eddie Murphy and the Mr. Bill skit and that stuff was actually good.

I knew then that Trump had a really good shot at re-election. The limosine liberals declared they would double down. No wisdom gained. No lessons taught. They legit think a blue collar worker in Pennsylvania gives a flying fuck about the 256 genders and some confederate statue half a nation away. Meanwhile, under Trump the economy is booming and we're the farthest away from world war than we've been in decades.
Fast forward to current events, SNL still can't handle someone with a different political opinion. A black man who supports Trump goes against the narrative. To even posit that Trump has some positives is wholly unpalatable. Like Soviets, they try to trout out his psych history to discredit him. Ad hoc is easier than actually having a counterpoint. Nevermind that Kanye has Trump's ear and the latter has also granted him political favors. What moron would openly criticize someone that is so clearly benefitting you? To say nothing of the fact Kanye's stock portfolio is doing well under Trump.
