I don't see how that could work. Facebook's face detection AI should have no problem detecting the picture if you make subtle changes to it. In all likelihood, the picture was flagged at some point, maybe by the woman in the photo, so Facebook now deletes it whenever it is shared.

It's just a machine learning classifier, any image you upload is going to get analyzed and get a True/False for "explicit content" and flagged accordingly. Facebook has millions of training points for explicit content labeled by pajeets , lots of them got PTSD flagging gore for pennies.
