PQ has sadly become a relic. I wish they were better, especially since they got Aussant on board (talented souverainiste economist), but they are bogged down by useless baggage and "youth activists": university students with minds polluted by American culture theory. They don't have any worthwhile propositions, and fully bit the diversity and #metoo bullet in a desperate attempt to get votes.
CAQ is willing to play hardball with Ottawa, which is the next best thing to independence. Most importantly they aren't as corrupt as the Liberals due to being a party that has never been in power, with members who aren't career politicians.
