San Diego has a very low crime rate because it has a very small police force.
Less police means police catch fewer crimes.
And there is a high population of illegal and legal immigrants who stick together in tight communities and never report crimes to police and handle matters themselves.
Meanwhile, white people live in gated affluent neighborhoods away from minorities and don’t criminalize themselves of course.

In other words, San Diego is highly segregated with different minorities occupying different zip codes.
White people dont commit crimes,
Minorities don’t report crimes
And cops don’t look for crimes to catch

That doesn’t mean that crimes aren’t committed, just that they aren’t officially recorded and prosecuted.
If cops ever tried to chase down a real criminal here he’d escape across the border to mexico in ten minutes anyway.

It's true. I moved to SD from LA, and with the exception to gardeners, I can go weeks without seeing Mexicans here. It's so weird, all of the restaurants here are run by white kids. In LA, Mexicans are absolutely everywhere.

San Diegan here. Mexibro here is 100% correct. San Diego isn’t any less crime-ridden or violent than anywhere else, it’s just the police force doesn’t pursue 99% of crime because the perpetrators ALWAYS just drive 10 miles south to Mexico. You can’t even report some crimes to SDPD anymore, such as fraud and identity theft - they literally won’t even take your call. But one thing they do do here in San Diego is go after military and veterans - they know those people with levels of personal responsibility will pay their fines/face up to their punishment. They’ll let a murder case drop because it’s Mexican related but they won’t let a Sailor or Marine off the hook for punching someone in a bar fight in PB.

I'm a San Diegan. Lived here all my life. The reason crime has gone down is because San Diego is where illegals ENTER the US, but not where they stay.
San Diego is where all the legal immigrants stay. They then all move northward to commit crimes in sanctuary cities. This is because San Diego is not a sanctuary city.
San Diego has numerous military bases and is the only metropolitan area in the country that actually allows concealed carry permits in open violation of far-left state mandate - San Diegans are armed, and as long as there are marine bases, army bases, navy bases, air force bases, coast guard bases, and border patrol headquarters in San Diego county, it's going to stay that way.
