If all that was achieved was trump banning bump stocks and raising the rifle purchasing age to 21, I think they achieved their goal. Not exactly sure why they wanted bump stocks banned (only good as suppressor fire if you're in CQB, doesn't beat a binary trigger in efficiency?). You'd think the main point would have been going after magazine capacity seeing ad he supposedly used sure fire 100rnd mags. But that's assuming the bump stocks/age limit weren't just secondary wins to the bigger picture they were trying to distract us from, and that's the multiple shooter theory. This doesn't really have to do with what happened in Vegas as to the whole conspiracy angle, but there is something which you anons may find interesting.
Some people have picked up on this before but something very interesting happened once the (((investigation))) was concluded. If you didn't know this, they refused to label this a "terrorist incident". Which is interesting for a few reasons.
The reason it's interesting to my industry is because DHS, in the wake of 9/11, put out what is known as the Safety Act. Without getting too much into it, what the Safety Act does is provide liability protection to third-party private vendors and facilities provided they enact certain "anti-terrorism" measures (shit like screening, searches, standard security protocols, report handling, etc.). In order to become "Safety Act Certified" private entities got to go through a long and, quite frankly, ridiculous process where they develop "Anti-terrorism measures" and submit those to the DHS. If the DHS deems it sufficient, they'll grant them a Safety Act Designation--thereby limiting liability to private companies in the event of a terrorist attack. The Private event security company on-site for the festival was CSC event services. They are a designated Safety Act company. Same with Mandalay Bay.
So when they concluded that the shooting wasn't "terror related", it meant that Mandalay Bay, CSC, et al weren't afforded their liability protection. So either 1.) It wasn't a terrorist incident (according the the investigation) and therefore was either a military operation or a black ops operation gone wrong or 2.) the government is deliberately downgrading the obvious terrorist attack to skirt liability. Either way, there's a scandal here.
