The US is not in a trade war with China. We are in a real, live, 4th generation war with China. While our government still thinks of war in terms of tanks and battleships, we are being systematically hollowed out economically and murdered indiscriminately by foreign companies acting at the behest of and with subsidization by the second most powerful state in the world. This is war, and the Chinese know it. A military text of theirs, Unrestricted Warfare by Col. Qiao Liang and Col. Wang Xiangsui, dictates specifically that China cannot beat the US in a direct military confrontation, so they must do so by other means. After all, why build bombs when you can manufacture poison and sell it to your enemy who will take it on instruction from their own doctors?
