Ahh, egypt. I have family there, god knows why my grandpa left his homeland to live in that shithole. Anyway, Egypt is fucking weird, but i attribute most of its suckage towards Islam.
But I will just list off things that were fucked when my brother and father went there.

See that is what I like to see though, I just went on a full rant about your country and laugh it off, like nothing. It is that cool levelheaded rationale that is very respectable.
So if I'd give Egypt anything, I would say the people are probably the best part. My uncle and little cousins are some of the chillest people I have ever met, despite basically coming from a hell environment.

Count every 25 since then and you get a better picture of how many genes are floating around that were caused by inbreeding. A place doesn't turn into a shithole by accident. The land itself doesn't exude some kind of toxin that warps your brains. Horrible places are horrible because they are filled with horrible people. Africa, the Middle East, the overwhelming majority of Asia... All terrible places because the people are human garbage.
Just like trap photos, city photos are often deceptive. I seriously doubt a lot of Singapore looks that glamorous. Just looking at that surf board building from different angles makes it look ugly. Pictured shows the same part of my city, just zoomed in on a glitzier part, taken at night, from a better angle, and with long exposure while it had some event lights and tents and other stuff set up.
I don't mean to suggest that Singapore isn't generally better off than Egypt, or that religion is the cause. Both of those notions are incorrect, but a part of cities having more resources means they spend a lot more on promotional stuff like photos and amping up particular statistics to make them seem even more productive than they are.

I doubt that. Again, I'm not saying it's a shit hole. It is one of, if not the most, successful cities by many metrics. The facade of most visible parts of buildings is relatively nice, and even alleyways in poor areas are kept relatively clean and tidy, but if you look into poor people's lives in the city, you will find plenty of squalor. How much of a city's resources do you put into presentation over substance? You can find plenty of less flattering angles of those buildings, and there are still places there that look just like the seedy areas of other large cities in Asia.
