It's also an area with the thinnest ice, it's probably the most defensible location in the world immigration wise as to you back it's deadly frozen tundra and to your front is a coast line probably the furthest away from and shit hole country in the world. It has massive mineral wealth and oil wealth, who gives a flying fuck about a treaty made over 70 years ago, that talks about other already existing countries claiming it not the creation of a new country. We can turn the climate moderate and similar to Iceland and Alaska by using hall weather machines ( basically just mylar balloons with one side reflective to act as a artificial green house "gas") we'd only need to cover less than 1% of the surface area of the country in respective balloons in the atmosphere, which isn't that much and could probably do it for a few million considering the cheapness of mylar.in my opinion Antarctica is literally the BEST place place in the world to start an ethnostate as there is no one permanently living there so no "violent take over" we just pack up our shit and go there and release the high altitude balloons with a reflective bottom. We may actually have a case of support and international funding by the un because it makes the process for getting shit done in Antarctica easier just like how permanent settlement and the existence of Greenland makes the process simpler for the nother ice caps.
