Why is one illegal, and the obviously more harmful one legal?
Cannabis >mellow, comfortable high, reduces discomfort >can be used to assist in workouts >psychomotor performance is only lightly impacted >if you get too high you might feel uncomfortable or pass out, but you will always wake up the next morning without danger >no hangovers >absolutely no negative health impact if vaporized >more intense sexual pleasure because of heightened senses
alcohol >literally a cell killing toxin running through your veins >even a light beer reduces your life by 30 minutes >6% of global deaths ever year are the result of alcohol consumption >irreversible artery damage can already be found in heavy alcohol drinkers below the age of 20 >sex sucks, limp dick
Being in favor of an alcohol ban and instead legalizing cannabis as the go-to social drug is the only rational position to take.
Alcohol was only federally banned so they could regulate the shit out of it and create a taxable class and protect the oil industry. they're trying to do the same for weedd now.
Nolan Perez
The study on this did not prove harmful. They have only proven it changes brain development, not harm it. Studies actually show that cannabis users have a significantly higher IQ than normies. Please stop spreading this disinformation. Cannabis is really good for you IF USED RESPONSIBLY
when you turn 18 you will learn the government isn't required to prevent harm to you
Parker Murphy
when you are not satisfied with your life you will likely fall into drugs and alcohol, better then antidepressant through
Carter Diaz
Been sober for 6 months from weed and alcohol. Still want to smoke and drink constantly. It's fucked.
William Smith
Weed makes you gay. Booze makes you a man.
Daniel Campbell
also weed and alcohol abuse lead to a state when you aren't able to enjoy things if not stoned
Jaxson Collins
Both should be banned. And all addicts unwilling to comply to be put to immediate death.
Matthew Ortiz
I’m a Yurok. Here on the Rez alcohol is illegal and pot is legal.
Noah Stewart
I only drink on special occasion, it's nicer that way. weed isn't appealing to me at all
Jeremiah Morris
>even a light beer reduces your life by 30 minutes dumbest shit i ever heard. OP is the dumbest faggot I ever heard.
Lincoln Baker
Textile industry shenanigans. Seriously.
Joshua Myers
Tripping in a public place, with strangers also tripping, sounds awful. I don't like drinking at the bar because you never know if one of the strangers you're drinking with can't hold his liquor and act like a belligerent idiot; can you imagine a total normie scrub dropping four hits too many and freaking the fuck out while you're just trying to trip? If you want a comfy environment, trip at home or innawoods.
Logan Murphy
Or kill themselves. If you have such a problem with reality that you have to use chemicals to feel normal, you shouldn't spread those crappy genes around.
William Morgan
>and the obviously more harmful neither is unharmful just like the air you breath at this very moment and the tap water you drink is toxic nothing you do, or don't do for that matter, will make you immortal blaze a dick faggot
i like both, i love weed when im drunk. and ive never had limpdick while drunk. i pounded my gf's pussy last night and made her cum twice even tho i had that rum running through my veins.
Gavin Baker
Of course, a change in the crippled brains they seek to create would be considered harm, to them.
Chemical industry shenanigans, more precisely. du Pont liked their nylon just fine without competition.
You have to be 18 to post here.
Jack Ortiz
THC uses your receptors while Alcohol is a literal neurotoxin. By this i'm not saying you should give a fuck about that because im pretty certain 99% of whiskey sippers here couldn't care less and that's not my business. I definitely prefer getting stoned but that doesn't mean that i cannot enjoy alcohol. It makes you feel fucking unstoppable and awesome plus it helped me befriend many a turbonormie despite my aspergers, despite a hangover being the worst thing ever. Weed on the other hand had me writing a goodbye letter to my family twice since it convinced me i'm dying, but that's my fault for smoking too much too quickly. The absent hangover makes the deal anyday however. People who shit on potheads should care more about themselves, the only person who scolded me for smoking in public was a full-bearded "daddy cool" turbo manlet with a pitbull obviously coping with his insecurities. Threatened to have his dog come at me which would've been a thrill. In retrospect i would have loved to see his face when his pitbull (friend and dick substitute) gets blank cartridged back to dog heaven. Also, my friend and me had a beer before a sizeable J on graduation day and i've never been higher. Both substances have a reason why they're popular. Just don't turn into a 24/7 stoner or worse yet, an alcoholic.
From experience with dealing with people on both, I'd be much happier with an alcohol ban and marijuana legalization.
Stoners are annoying but even the ones that are baked 24/7 can still be somewhat productive and when the high wears off they're fine. Alcoholics are completely fucking useless when they're drunk and when the intoxication wears off they have withdraws it's always a huge fucking deal.
Levi Fisher
How about I keep boozing and doing drugs until I die and you just leave me alone?
>tripping with strangers You make a very valid point. It's bad enough with weed already. We had a kid legitimately paranoia out HARD. The stoners present couldn't have given less fucks but i had to talk two sober people who basically invited themselves out of calling an ambulance for 10 minutes royally fucking my high. Only get going in a closed circle with trusted friends.
Cameron Peterson
it's not illegal here, I can walk into a store and buy weed like a civilized human bean
>beer and a sizeable J I had always heard alcohol mixed with weed made you less high but at a new year party I had a few drinks, smoked a bit and ate 2 400mg edibles. And I was up in the clouds bro.
You were in the clouds because you had almost a thousand mgs in your guts lmao weed and beer complement each other perfectly but I'm sure those brownies overpowered anything else.
Lincoln Wilson
I encourage you to just do whatever you want.Shoot it,snort it,smoke it,drink it.In fact, I want you to do as much as you can and then push through that wall and do even more. Please, do this for me.
Xavier Moore
Yeah, I don't smoke with noobs because they can't hang. Everyone gets geetered out every now and then, but people who can't tell themselves "it's cool, I'm just high" can fuck off
Aaron Jenkins
I dont care if its legal, but its the whole "dude weed" cukture that pisses me off. Ever since it was legalized here its all over the damn place. I'm so tired of smelling it everywhere and hearing these little shits caughing and gagging. I can barely take my kid to the park because there is always some degenerate out there smoking.
Smoke weed, I dont give a shit just do it in your own house. Id react the same way if I saw a person walking around with alcohol
Gabriel Russell
I drank retarded amounts of alcohol for like 5 years and i'm 30. How fucked is my body?
Christian Roberts
Psychedelics should be legalised but I don't think the international elites would be too fond of this.
Cameron Long
Literally this.
Jackson Sanders
Take some hits of lsd about 1-3 times over the course of a month, it should help with curing the addiction.
Justin Anderson
I doubt it. Though the founder of AA broke his sobriety with LSD. I was doing Acid before I got sober.
Brody Sanders
As far as I go on this subject, I can't really disagree with you. I agree the weed should be fully legalized as well as other psychedelics and other drugs decriminalized. The system we have now only benefits private prisons and pearl clutching boomers. You take responsibility for your actions and only your actions.
Anthony White
Entirely this. Most of the shit leftists push wouldn't even be an issue if they just kept it to themselves like normal adults. They want to be rebellious because it makes them feel special and unique, when in reality they appear as annoying faggots that nobody likes.
Joseph Price
Hmm interesting because from papers I've read it seems LSD's ability to rewrite hard wired pathways in the brain is suggested to allow the brain to overcome years of substance dependence.
Asher Gray
It'd mainly be the (((pharmaceutical))) industry against it, just doing shrooms once completely got rid of my depression and anxiety for a few weeks, the pharmaceutical industry would be pissed if people didn't have to buy their (((SSRIs))) anymore
Ethan James
This and this.
Thomas Perry
I've still yet to try shrooms although they seem promising.
Levi Howard
On the other hand, I've done shrooms a handful of times and had two bad trips. One affected me for months. The good trips were really good though.
Wyatt Martinez
It's definitely not a permanent fix because you eventually revert back to your old self after a few weeks, but I think tripping once a month or once every other month could honestly fix a lot of people's depression completely
Isaac Thomas
Taking a drug to break addiction just seems self-defeating.
Ethan Wood
I feel like most people who aren't regular users of cannabis don't really have a clear opinion on it and people who do are never taken seriously. It's always circular and fruitless to discuss anything marijuana related here.
Relax, normlords, they'll get it out of their system soon enough.
Jacob Cooper
It's more a chemical rebalancing, you used one thing which shifted your brain chemistry the wrong way, you use another to put it back.
Eli Hill
>a light beer reduces your life by 30 minutes LOL
William Fisher
Pic related should give you your answer. This obviously doesn't concern recreational use, this is just the "red flag" used by outlets to shift attention from the actual benefits, or in short, companies don't want hemp to gain traction as they couldn't make big profits with it as they're making right now. It's the same way as cures being held back so pharmaceutical douches can make big cash.
>Native Americans in the United States have historically had extreme difficulty with the use of alcohol.[1] Problems continue among contemporary Native Americans; 12% of the deaths among Native Americans and Alaska Natives are alcohol-related.
>A survey of death certificates over a four-year period showed that deaths among Native Americans due to alcohol are about four times as common as in the general US population and are often due to traffic collisions and liver disease with homicide, suicide, and falls also contributing.
Alcohol is in our genes Hans. It's not a good thing to do but your average 15 year old North/Western European girl could out drink a fully grown Amerindian.
Bentley Murphy
Narcan doesnt mean you're clean. Thought this would be a good place to drop a redpill on /ourcrisis/ because its kino and comfy
Xavier Peterson
Yeah they call it firewater. It's a huge problem if you live near them. They're always drinks and tweakers.
Daniel Hill
Why do they keep drinking even if their bodies can't handle it like somebody whose ancestors drank it for 10,000 years?
Benjamin Morgan
Because we were evil bastards about it a hundred years ago. Here squanto, have 750ml of crown royal and I'll take this land and you take this train to Oklahoma. "Train and Booze for land? Thanks white man!" the problem is we let them out of Oklahoma only to learn they were hooked on smuggling the stuff in and beating their families. They're just not wired for it.
Elijah Rodriguez
We also shouldve paid attention to the opium eaters crisis Britain had around then. We couldve learned a lot easier only chinks are wired for /our drug/.
Wyatt Rivera
I used it very regularly, too fucking regularly. You dont see what it dose to you long terms untill you stop and stop for a long wile.
You get boost of energy and wanting to go out and do stuff. Mood improves wile not high. And the shir you like to do wile hugh geta its meaning back why you like it, other than lol im soo high.
Just dont replace it with booz because thats equaly bad.
Jace Wood
>proven it changes brain development, not harm it Neato.
Xavier Jackson
I'm sorry you have to be constantly intoxicated to get through life. Seems like you're the immature one here.
Cameron Rodriguez
Because rich assholes
Matthew Collins
It's strange. Maybe not american indians but you'd expect a culture that tore out hearts to make the sun rise tomorrow to be fucking wankered all of the time.
>/our drug Opium?
Wyatt Cox
>Seems like you're the immature one here. Not really immaturity. I think predisposition to certain intoxicants and addiction is partly genetic, environmental and mind state.
James Lewis
>Absolutely no negative health impact if vaporized
Yup. Most of the US population over 25 is hooked on the shit and I hear it's a quiet crisis still on your side of the pond despite all the knowing better.
Landon Bennett
I live in the North East of England which apparently has the highest opioid addiction rate. It's nothing like what I've read about in the US with fentanyl and what not but I'd let them die and I say that in the same boat. I've been a regular user of opioids for 4 years but more times than not it's over the counter stuff from pharmacies like codeine and dihydrocodeine, but will do anything that falls into my hands.
Not physically addicted, was able to go back to weak opiates after binges on harder ones for long periods with relative ease. I'm grateful for that but they are satan.
Have you heard of Poppy seed/pod tea?
Bentley Murphy
Fuck I shouldve made one post. But the indians are slowly developing a tolerance to it especially compared to the other shit they're into like meth. I'm not saying they were innocent before we got here but they really dont seem wired for much of anything.
Shes not high on weed. Those are fentanyl eyes. Doesnt help that Canada has fucking needle clinics. I saw it argued that Canada is on par with the US in over indulgence.
All my seemingly anti opium shit aside. Nothing works better for pain and that trade off means people are ok becoming addicted to it. Myself included because of 9 years in the casino business beating me up and showing its toll on my back. But there are a lot of people turning to street opiates to get their fix and timed with loads of fentanyl from china through Mexico, we are looking at a problem. In reality they need to get off the doctors ass about it and build the wall.
Yes. The only problem with the tea is you cant be 100% sure how much you're getting. But even then as long as you're not acting like a fucking brainlet and throwing 5 pods in there your first binge, should be fine.
Lincoln Morales
Normal people are assfuckd braindead zombies tho. Y would i want that?
Benjamin Young
I gave up the Liquid Jew 4 months ago.... >Lost 25 pounds >Hit the weights >have mental clarity >no more hangovers >skin cleared up >saved a shit ton of money
Unfortunately I have to piss in the Jew cup for work so I can’t smoke but I’m not missing it.
The lift it away mentality lead to my back trouble. I was getting Jow Forums and played rugby semi pro and college from 18-22. Wrecked my knees and set my back up for failure. Dont just advise people get hurt, Jow Forumsbro
Nathaniel Allen
>Jow Forums is two people >t.smooth-brained partisan shill
Your straw men bore me, crippledick. Kill yourself for being a good goy.
So it wasn't the weight lifting, it was playing semi pro rugby, no? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that getting hit by guys running full speed is going to wreck you later in life.
David Turner
Getting in shape and getting in a Euro mosh pit with a ball are two totally different things. You obviously missed the get a clue part of my post...
? Just don't do deadlifts you fucking idiot bam wow no back problems
Grayson Brown
>a bar where drop LSD instead of drinking alcohol LSD/Shrooms aren't a "social drug" in the same way alcohol/weed is.
>long trip times (~12-18 hours) >long recovery time (mentally, can take over 48 hours to get yourself back to baseline + back to regular sleep) >fast tolerance build up (can only drop acid about once every 2 weeks at minimum) >magnifies your thoughts (as opposed to the unwinding effects of alcohol/weed)
