Having a marriage between gays normalizes homosexuality, so why is that a problem besides “it’s a sin”? Gays get disease and spread disease. There are tons of statistics on it. A gay is more than 40 times more likely to have HIV/AIDS than a straight guy, for example. Along with all other kinds of health issues. And those are major problems for any society, so if you won’t legally punish gays like Muslims do, at least make sure young kids know it’s a sick thing to do and it isn’t “normal”.

Well, what are the legitimate reasons for a government to get involved in the agreement of two of their private citizens' agreement to spend the rest of their lives together?
