He's 100% correct with this, British media stations have absolutely failed this country. The amount of times I've seen a politician come on one of these shows, dispute what a buisness owner is saying with their stupid fantasy land and easily disprovable logic is insane.
The media hasn't done their homework, they don't know the details on anything, they just nod their head and high five each other over "balance". They'd get random politicians or people on the street with no credentials go against scientists for "balance". It feels like we're in a episode of Black Mirror.
The Euromyths website is quite eye opening. The amount of absurd nonsense the UK media has pumped out for 30 years is insane. The Times said the EU was banning A levels in the year 2000. The Sun repeatedly said paper rounds were being banned by the EU. The Times said that the 999 number was being banned and replaced. They just lied continuously. The fact the commission had to start a fucking website specifically just to counter British bullshit is quite alarming
"Project Fear" is our "Fake News" on this side of the Atlantic. It is the universal shorthand to label anything of any basis as something to be immediately dismissed, discarded, avoided, erased.
