Hospitals are actually required to care for you here if it's life-threatening, they just aren't obligated to house or care for you after you've been treated and what you have isn't immediately life-threatening.

My job at Southern Company does similar shit. The insurance gives a kick back even though almost all employees that get the shots still get sick. Ironically they refuse to stay home when sick since they would have to take personal time off (PTO) which they save for vacations like good goys. Fuck companies that promote staying at work when your sick with retarded vacation sick day policies.
