Seriously, why would anyone pay however much they'd charge to rent one what has had other guy's dicks in it and is gross as hell when I could buy this for $800? It'd just poor decision making. Hell, the only reason anyone uses whore is because having cunts as owned property but if you can own a sex hole why would rent?

I live in Houston, TX so let me give you my perspective of this situation. This seems rather odd because as you know Houston is one of the premier cities for sex trafficking. Since Houston is known for all the illegal sex trafficking going on in the city and this might seem like a conspiracy but I think the Mayor/Counsel or some high up official got some dirty money. Lets be real the sex trafficking industry makes WAAAYYY too much money and they don't want any legal competition. This is just how I see it so I might seem like a whack job but it makes sense to me.
But let's be honest though, anybody that actually buys one of these things to keep in their home is basically saying "I will never have sex with a real woman for the rest of my life."

That's what I thought too, but I'm not convinced this would cut into their bottom line in any meaningful way. There is this odd moral panic about "sexbots" in recent years - oddly something both conservatives and feminists agree on.

There's nothing degenerate about brothels, during more normal times fathers would take their sons to one when they got old enough (so like 15). As brothels are ok, I don't see any reasoning that would lead to sex dolls being bad.
