The progress of feminism is dependent on the pairing of technology with the rule of law. Women used to be marginal actors in society owing to being physically weaker, prone to severe risks in childbirth, and lack of birth control making pregnancies their normal physical state, with all the accompanying mental chaos. In the modern era, technology has eliminated much "women's work" like cleaning and even cooking.
The modern problem is having women like Alyssa Milano being told by an armed guard man in the Senate to stop filming because it's against the rules, yet being oblivious to what that means. She KNEW filming wasn't allowed, but it took a threat of PHYSICAL force to compel a change in her behavior.
In any rational movement, women would see they NEED men for any societal progress.
