You can’t have a sense of family and community in an increasingly society which demands all that can work should work to the detriment of their personal lives and development. 100 years ago, the farming families had many children because they needed farm hands.
Nowadays, individuals don't need children, or many children. But corporations/companies do. So it makes sense that companies would become the families of the 21st century, and raise children themselves.
