How much of the mess we are in has to do with politics not being made in the parliaments, anymore? Instead, everything is made up during lame-stream media shit flinging contests.
Honest question: When was the last time a member of parliament has been swayed by arguments or a rousing speech in the actual parliament? Most of the politicians, especially members of the old parties, have laughable oratory skills. When I see people like Anton "Anders-Breivik's-evil-twin" Hofreiter speaking, I see nothing but weakness ooze out of him.
