Are you guys aware of the literal hell that is going on right now in Brazil? The elections for president are happening now. The candidate that has the majority of vote intentions is called Bolsonaro. He represents the alt-right and conservatism in Brazil, and its called a fascist, racist, and homophobe. Problem is, we dont vote using paper. We use a type of eletronic urn that counts the votes automatically. The problem is, they are old and were programed probably by an autistic monkey. Because their software is extremely easy to hack. There is no safety at all. Even more considering the fact that is literally impossible to count the votes after the ellections are over, because you cant access the data (i think it is automatically erased).
Anyway, what happens is that many people who tried to vote for Bolsonaro were not able to, due to the fact that the process ends before they hit the confirmation button. Or change to another candidate, Fernando Haddad. Making things short, hes the brazilian Hillary, but more commie. Representing one of the most corrupt political parties on the planet. The results will be out in probably in like 3 or 4 hours, and by then we will know the results. If Bolsonaro don't win, considering that the vast majority of the country voted for him, and many people are reporting fraud to the Federal Police, we will probably see what i call the fall of democracy. This is huge. Democracy is an utopia, an illusion, and for the first time ever, there will be a real proof of that. There might a civil war, a revolution, maybe a second militar dictatorship. Shits about to get real.
Based Brazil bros I said a prayer for Jair and Brazil in mass earlier today.
I hope that by ballot or bullet you get control of your country back from the vampires, thieves, and sodomites

Estão fraudando pra caralho esta eleição. Fraude para tudo quanto é lado.

Isn't the media saying anything about it? Oh, and i forgot. One month ago, Bolsonaro suffered an attempted murder. He was in a crowd, with people cheering for him, when a guy literally stabbed his stomach. He is "fine" now.
Caleb Gonzalez
I voted for him, anão. I'm just worried and anxious about it.
Juan Lopez
>He represents the alt-right and conservatism in Brazil, and its called a fascist, racist, and homophobe. All true

these fucking threads are getting to 300 posts pretty fast
Yes, I saw that as soon as it happened could not believe it at the time.
Carson James
Is it realistic that he calls military to intervene?
Leo Watson
This. Lol at op thinking that racist votes should count
Easton Myers
I think a military intervention could happen if Haddad was elected and freed Lula, his other "comrades" in jail, went after Moro as revenge (the one judge behind Lava Jato that got Lula arrested), pushed a new constitution that took the independence from the other powers etc...
Jacob Cook
Isn't a run off election between Haddad and Bolsonaro the most likely outcome?

Are there people unironically wanting to release Lula? I was a couple if antifa stickers about him here and there in London.
Aiden Thompson
Yes user. There is a lot of people who would made some big bucks off him and who could possibly be thrown in jail too if he is not released on time. I suppose if Bolsonaro wins, Lula will finally open his mouth and point all the other criminals like the little bitch he is. Which is why winning is more essential than what people think.
Alexander Howard
the candidate that has the majority of vote intentions is in jail
Nolan Moore
When are they going to announce the presidential votes anão? I'm watching globo live and they are announcing Govenors who won.
Yeah. Like, you don't get it. The left in Brazil is way crazier than in europe and US. They all know he is a criminal but pretend he isn't. They simply ignore what they know about his crimes. Either that or they sometimes they use the argument that he IS corrupt and stole a hell lot of money, but he was a good president somehow.
Jack Wright
Yeah. If Bolsonaro lose, Haddad will probably wins, and that means he will release Lula. And no one know what happens next.
Ryan Jackson
Probably around 20pm in Brazil. Or in 3 hours.
Jordan Gutierrez
Just let him win After all, commies are the best at killing themselves
Just a reminder that Brazil Feeds 1/3 of the world population.
What will happen if we become a commie ditactorship?
Jace Myers
We'll find a reason to overthrow you. We want to form a friendly food monopoly with you though.
Brayden Hernandez
The world is ignoring this but the US has parked a fleet off of the coast. As far as I know, we are there to lend support to Brazil's military when you crash Venezuela. I hope that's true and we are not there to support your opression. God speed jungle monkeys
Nicholas Russell
>it's only rigged if we lose oh yeah, a tale as old as time
Evan Martinez
I hope so my friend, i hope so. We brazilians have more in common with you americans than you think. We just sufered heavy cultural subversion and got our history erased by Paulo Freire's Gramsci subversion.
Ryan Scott
Blame this motherfucker. Marechal Deodoro da Fonseca.

>Are you guys aware of the literal hell that is going on right now in Brazil? everything seems chill for now, don't overreact to bait gringos into thinking we're interesting I'm ordering food in case it gets interesting later, tho. Can you imagine if he wins today?
Robert Morris
I never particularly liked Brazil, but I really hope you don't miss your shot here at turning things around. Good luck and godspeed Huefriends.

How retarded and ignorant can you be? Have you even stopped to read anything about them?
EVERY fucking election the Supreme Election Court asks for hackers from all over the country and world to come and try to find breach in the system. (and they get rewarded if they do). The urns themselves have no connection with any sort of device and they are sealed. If this seal is broken all votes inside it at discarded since it was violated.
Its one of the most advanced voting systems in the world and it actually works all over the world, with Hues voting in many countries. To this day no breach, failure or problem was found within the system.
This is the intellectual depth of the usual Bozo voter. They don't read. They don't care about truth. All they care is about their perspective that they pull out of their ass.
Kevin Reyes
In Bolsonaro's case, there is plenty to go on ahead and say there was an attempt to rig the elections against him. From the start, the smear campaigns were all just senseless accusations by people without any proof, yet such accusations were taken as actual irrefutable truth by the leftists controlling the media. The same happened at the debates: even when he wasn't present, they attacked him based off their personal opinions. In fact, that was the main reason Bolsonaro didn't go to the debate, he went instead to an interview in another channel: he wanted to discuss politics, but the leftist media along with the candidates were more focused on attacking him personally than proving on television why they are better candidates. The reason they did so is simple: they know they can't be better as a candidate than he is, so they try to smear him. If this does not prove to you how embarrassingly bad these guys are, then understand the faked statistics posted by our national research centers always put them in first spot up until the election now. Their idea is to attempt the same that was done on the US, and that info is complemented and proved very easily when reading through Palocci's delation, as he directly mentions his party's (PT) corruption schemes with IBOPE and even Data Folha. So yes, there is a chance this election is rigged; but only in favor of Haddad, Ciro or any of the older politicians.
Carson Diaz
I stopped reading through in the first line. The only way I'd trust a voting machine is if it were open source, so I could check the failures myself. You don't seem to understand technology, even less how corrupt the brazillian state is. Goodbye shill.
Elijah Ramirez
Good bait.

It's in our best interest to have you in south america and mexico in central america become friendly regional powers/emerging super powers. The more we can help you guys pull the rest of the americas into the 21st century the more power we can siphon away from Europe and Asia into our neighborhood.
Parker King
also think domino theory. if Brazil falls to communism then so will all of South America. Its definitely not in the US economic or security interest to see a communist Brazil

BUT IT IS YOUR FUCKING RETARD!
Since 2008 they use Uenux which is a linux based system. Its open sourced and anyone can have access to it.
Any federal institution can have access to it. Any political party can have access to it. The public ministry can have access to it.
And the hackers who try to find a breach also have access to it.

Thanks for selling our country to Israel

Lula's puppet candidate (Haddad) already admitted he'll try to get him out of jail if he gets elected, and nothing happens. This is how cucked the justice is.
The US uses a series of proxies to influence foreign elections. The main proxy is the National Endowment for Democracy, NED, which receives $100 million in taxpayer dollars. The NED et al coordinates all of it’s activities with the State Department. The NED has a series of shell organizations to target specific ideological groups, social classes, and countries. The shell organization used to support center-left parties is the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, the NDI.
The US is using these to influence the Brazilian election. The NED has published pieces on its website which call Bolsonaro a threat to democracy and the rule of law. Foreign Policy Magazine, the mouthpiece of the State Department, has also published similar attacks on Bolsonaro. The NDI published a piece on its website declaring that Haddad was a champion of anti-corruption and “social justice” while condemning Bolsonaro.
Clearly the US prefers Haddad to Bolsonaro. How deep does this clandestine support go?
Economically it depends, if we continue leaning into soft isolationism and not being involved with other countries it's good, it takes a major food exporter off the table and grants us more dominance. Ultimately though that's only short term, reality is we'll have another liberal government at some point that will want to bail out the entire failed continent.

>be brazilian >doesn't trust politicians >accepts a closed source system imposed by politicians as absolute truth.
There's a reason serious countries don't rely only on electronic voting.
Plus my professor was one of those hackers and told us about the shity conditions they had to follow in order to see the source code. And how they broke the secret voting in 10 minutes because they used some monkey tier algorithm for pseudo random numbers.
If you don't know about computers or saw the code by yourself and still trust this shit, you are just cattle.
Asher Johnson
Good luck anons

When will the results be announced?

Checked and blackpilled, you absolute nigger.
Nicholas Diaz
Except that the system wasn't imposed by politicians. The system had several changes to increase its security over the years and these changes are not done by any legislative power. Its the Supreme Court, which is composed by judges, not politics.
You are the one trying really fucking hard to bend the truth even mentioning this supposed teacher you have and how he broke the secret voting.
Okay, I'll bite. Even if he managed to break one of the features of the system, he would still need to do that in hundreds... No thousands of urns in order to actually represent any significant change in the votes. Only problem is that the urns are collected within hours and they have a eletronic seal. Once open, this seal can't be forged. And if thats not enough, you have very few hours to alter thousands of urns, in a operation that would involve hundreds of people. There are over 430.000 of them spread through the country.
A large fraud operation wouldn't sustain itself in a realistic scenario. It would have to involve cops, TSE workers, transport operation and so much more. It would be caught and the election would be cancelled. All votes would be discarded.
Its not a failproof system, but its good enough to discourage and prevent any sort of fraud. The magnitude it would require to actually sway an election would impossible to be done without calling attention.
I might not understand about computers and codes, but at least I can see that it frauding an election using this system would be a whole lot of trouble and for almost no gain. And again, we are talking about a institute that politicians have no say in anything.
Using paper voting would be easier to forge and fraud.
You are just a paranoid fuck you believes in anything you read on your facebook feed.
Andrew Allen
Why's Braaaapuguese gotta be so weird, at least with spanglish and muttalian I can get an idea of what's going on.
mother fucker needs less than 2%...35% of votes still not in!

communists aren't human they always lie they always cheat they all deserve the rope

There were people literally saying they coundn't vote for him due to some malfunction of the electronic ballot. He would have a clean sweep in the first round if it wasn't for this.
