So let me get this straight. Jews are nearly exterminated so they decide to start their own country in order to safeguard their existence. Nobody will give them land for this country so they have to take the land from someone, and logically they take the land in a region where they already have a large presence and the consent of the world's major powers.
Sure, it's not that fair to the non-Jews that live on that land, but it's either take the land or face extermination. And to be fair Israeli's have been fairly accommodating, all things considered.
Yes, Israel plays a game of realpolitik and this annoys privileged people who don't have to deal with the same threats as Israel does, but there's literally nothing wrong with making pragmatic decisions to secure your own peace and prosperity. Every country, even yours, tries this, although not always as successfully.
How is any of this a problem? It isn't. Any hatred of Israel is irrational.
