It's actually fairly normal, it was fairly quiet for about a decade with about one major storm every year hitting odd areas so it seemed worse than things were, but not chains of decent sized storms like normal.
Jose Kelly
>Yeah but why so many all of a sudden? >And so many powerful ones at that. >Most of the recent hurricanes have been breaking records
Its just an active year. Happens roughly once a decade. I live in "Hurricane Alley" and this year has not been much different than any other in the past 3 decades, even with Florence making landfall 30 minutes away from me.
The record breaking is the flooding. Its generally because we have had a lot of rain in the weeks leading up to the storms, or at least more than normal, AND, weve only been keeping records for about 100 years (or a nanosecond, in Earth time).
are any of these nerds clogging the interstate actually from the evacuation zones?
Levi Gonzalez

Yeah, just got back from a stock-up. There were still a few stacks of water and the canned food was half-empty. Overall didn't feel any major concern around from others.
Brandon Hernandez
Well anons, what’s the verdict? Should I stay or leave?
LIKELY THE BEGINNING PHASE OF SOME INTENSIFICATION...I'LL STOP SHORT OF RAPID BUT THINK ABOUT THIS OVER THE NEXT 24HRS LI (LAND INTERACTION) IS GOING TO CEASE UNTIL THE TIME OF LANDFALL
I think it meant that everyone knows it’s w notorious shithole
