He was an extraordinary employee and a wonderful young man who was loved by all,” Senate Majority Leader John J. Flanagan said in a statement, adding Cushing "will be greatly missed by his Senate family.”

The devastating crash occurred Saturday afternoon in Schoharie, near Albany, when the limo, carrying 18 people, crashed into a parked SUV.

Local officials told the Times Union of Albany that the limo was speeding down a hill when it hit bystanders at a store.

All occupants in the limo and two pedestrians were killed as a result of the crash.

Autopsies were being performed, including on the driver to see if drugs were alcohol were a factor. Authorities didn't say whether the limo occupants were wearing seat belts, give the speed of the limo or speculate what caused the limo to run the stop sign and slam into a parked SUV.

Relatives said the limousine was carrying four sisters and their friends to a 30th birthday celebration for the youngest.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Patrick’s friends and family during this difficult time, and pray they find the strength necessary to remember all of the lives he touched in a positive way,” Flanagan said.

From family members, from media reports, from social media postings, the stories of many of the 20 victims of the deadliest transportation disaster in the U.S. since 2009 are coming to light.

Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown confirmed Monday that a member of the party had a reservation for Saturday at noon. The brewery is about 40 miles from the crash site: Route 30 near the Apple Barrel Country Store in Schoharie.

The name of one of the 18 victims in the Ford Excursion limo has not been determined. The bystanders killed were Brian Hough, a professor at SUNY Oswego, and his father-in-law, who was unnamed in a Facebook post from Hough's aunt.

I challenge anyone here to find a video of the limo being pulled out, careflight landing or taking off, most of all any picture of the limo besides the two I posted. You can see in the background of the photos there are hundreds people there, appeared to be like 10 different news agency's. We get no helicopter footage. No videos of the limo.
